Love / Is Indian/Polish relationship possible? [370]

Well!!! This is my very first time I have visited this forum...and to be very honest I am very disappointed to go through what views (few) people have towards Indians in a relationship with the Poles. I guess we all tend to forget that we are all human beings and at the end of the day would like to settle down with someone who is not only beautiful person from outside but also true and genuinely beautiful person from inside irrespective to caste, kind or nationality. Five yrs back if someone would have said that I would be married to someone from a different continent, I would have definitely laughed at that person……but I guess destiny has its own way of showing things……and .I am glad. I took that risk….as every moment from there on has been worth it…..

I was actually thinking of floating a forum on Indians married to polish….. (I guess Polish girls are not only beautiful but also make a great life partner trust me guys!!!..... I am talking from my experience)

, but now after going through peoples view…I am having second thought about it. Anyway it’s been gr8 sharing my thoughts with you guys!!!

Cheers and take care

wow!!! is this a Competition.or a game of soccer or cricket between the two countries.......that u used the word SCORE. No offences meant but this kind of thinking and attitude gives people from the subcontinent a bad name.

What black/white /brown girlsgot to do with it?????Its all about finding the right person ... .not about any game or a score that u need to settle .Country...race or kind has nothing to do with it.

Well a quick message for u too Matthais.......where is the word respect in your Dictionary....I guess.....if we give respect we get it back.if we don't...we r paid back in the same coin. The very first sentence that you quoted doesnot show any respect(doesn't matter where a girl comes form any race or kind) ....before we try to correct or judge others, we should have one hard look at ourselfs. Ru perfect, cos i am not........and if u r the perfect one..gr8.next time i meet u i shall ask for your autograph. Sorry mate!!! but i dont judge people based on their nationality.or race.......and if u do.then its never late to change.

[quote=matthias] Thanks Amit for a useless post. Take the stick out of your a*s.

First of all .thanks a lot for your amazing choices of words,u have gr8 command over the language and ur Vocabulary is very rich, I am impressed. But still I am trying to understand things from your Perspective. U say ...Polish ladies.r..all bad…(as they go out with so many men from different nationalities)......then if we go by your definition, all the multi cultural countries like US, Canada, Australia,Newzealand,Singapore are all the same,as the ladies from those countries r all having relationships with men from different backgrounds. So that should also put them in the same pedestrian with Polish girls…right!!!!....... That’s makes a lot of ladies Slutty….if we go by your definition....and that makes me wonder, how so many people r all wrong and ur so right????????

Love / Is Indian/Polish relationship possible? [370]

am indian guy who had a relationship with a polish girl last year. I've known her for nearly one and half years and I'm speaking for myself. My general impression is that polish girls are after rich guys and they are materialistic.

First of all I wish u all the very best for ur future relationships. There is no use of being bitter about relationships man!....as s**t happens in life big time....but that doesn’t mean that we generalise and say.......all Polish girls r unfaithful . I am married to one for many yrs now and very happy. I just came back from Poland and I love the country, although it’s very different from where I come from. But given a chance I would love to go back to Poland for holidays even if it takes me 23 hrs of flying from where I live. Polish women r really beautiful…. I guess u haven’t met the right one yet!!! (cos trash is everywhere).....hopefully u get to know the better ones and ur impression will change. I feel it’s not being fair to black list all the women of this country based on one bad experience.

A. marrying a Polish girl will open the doors to Europe for some of the third world folk B. Polish girls are considered easy prey and good for a shag (which is mostly due to some gossip spread by bitter people like yourself, or some desperate Polish girls from tiny little villages in Poland giving themselves away for nothing in hope of a better life with a foreigner abroad).

Good lord!!! u seem to very angry and blunt over things ....in a way I agree with you in certain views of urs like men want to play around and finally want to settle down with someone who is a saint (I have seen it with many Asian men, especially Indians)...I guess that’s being hypocritical and I despise that kind of thinking. But what I really found shocking is u generalised that men from Asian countries get married to Poles to move to Europe. There might have been a few bad cases like that but it’s not being fair to generalise. I myself run a forum for Indian and Polish mixed couples and have met amazing people and heard fantastic stories, where people have made such big sacrifices to be together irrespective of their nationality and religion. So good things do happen, please don’t label us as hungry, opportunistic individuals.

I just came back from Poland and its neighbouring western European countries. & I find Europe a gr8 place for holidays but very expensive to live. It’s not an ideal place for me to move as life is getting harder and harder in that continent, let alone the cost of living. Please don’t get me wrong here as I am just trying to share my views with u & I don’t want to sound like others who tend to generalise.

Yes it definitely is possible .but .one needs to put in a lot of effort, as its a cross cultural relationship. I know many cross cultural relationships that couldn’t make it to the end or stand the test of time. So it again depends on individuals, and how hard r they committed to each other. Yes is a very subjective answer. Maybe is more appropriate...answer to this question

I have been reading a few posts of yours, and my question to you is why is it that you need to justify to others about your abilities and your background and the country you come from is equally good to any other nation in the world. If people have closed mind, that’s their problem not yours. You just don’t' need to justify. I have had someone in Poland come and ask me many silly questions, the best one being….what mode of transportation did I use to attend school????

Obviously he thought I had a couple of elephants in my back yard….so elephant back is the best mode of transportation that I could afford. That particular person for me is an ignorant idiot. But he does not make feel that all Poles think about India the same way he does. I find today’s Polish generation very well informed and are aware of things happening around them. Let’s face it!!!....culturally and geographically Poland and India are Poles apart (smiles). So to interact with them closely we have to find something in common, luckily for me it’s my wife who is Polish. She does a pretty good job to bind me close to Polish culture. I can tell you one thing for sure, Poles… at least the one’s I know r very cold from outside. But once you get to know then and they accept you in their inner circle, they make the best of friends. As a matter of fact, I have better Polish friends than Indians. This is due to the fact that we try to understand each other with an open mind. So buddy!!. ..What I am getting at is no need to waste your time on people who don’t understand you or your culture. There is good and bad everywhere…..I am 100% sure that once you get to know few open minded polish……your perception will change…and u will learn to overlook few ignorant people who have a closed mind.

Work / Advice on Teaching English in Poland [709]

Hi....
I have been looking to enrol for a CELTA course in Sydney. I have a bachelors and a master’s degree in Business with 9 years of sales and marketing experience. Although I have studied English for 17 yrs ….I am not a native speaker…in terms of acquiring

local ascent (Even though I have lived in this country over 10 yrs). I called a couple of English schools in Eastern Europe especially Poland. The feed back was very disappointing even though I have a good command over this language and have studied this language for so many year (Grammar for 8-10 years in school, 5 yrs of creative writing).I have a strong feeling that I might be discriminated of not being a native speaker as I am looking for an employment opportunity towards eastern Europe. Your feedback will be deeply appreciated, as this shall help me to make my decision towards doing this course or not.

Cheers

Love / Is Indian/Polish relationship possible? [370]

Come-on guys!....stop pelting stones at each other. We both can co-exist in harmony and can have cordial relationships. Polish and Indian relationship is definitely possible if we interact with an open and a positive frame of mind. Lets face it, in the first world countries both the races have immigrated in big numbers and in certain areas we are both not very WELCOME. For example how many illegal Polish immigrants are there in US especially in Chicago and what sort of work do they do …..Does that make them bad…well!!!...I don’t think so. Similarly I just don’t want to count how many Indians immigrated to these countries and may be you must have come across one idiot who left a bad impression in your mind. But if you generalise that all of the Indians/poles are the same, then it is not being fair to both the races. Wait till you come across an educated, well mannered individual and I am sure your impression shall change. I have great Polish friends in Poland and in the country of my residence. As a matter of fact I am married to one and I am glad I took that decision, it has exposed me to the other side of the world and I have grown both mentally and emotionally. It makes me a better person. If you widen your horizon and outlook, I am sure you shall make great friends even if they come from the other side of the world.
