Life / Car Crime in Poland [28]

I think maybe I will take the Jag XK then instead. I know some of the roads around the Krakow ring road are quite well rutted, and the urban roads are sometimes bad, but I took the XK last year and where I was seemed reasonable.

Language / So why did you give up learning Polish? [105]

Im just starting out learning Polish. Its a very complex language, but I do love a challenge. Im just basically stringing a few words together at the moment, but would love to be able to converse properly and be understood. I believe its common courtesy to at least attempt to speak the lingo when you are in a foreign country. Poland is a great place.!

Life / Car Crime in Poland [28]

If you drive a very expensive car with foreign reg. plates the risk is higher.

I have been to Poland many times before in my cars, and never experienced any problems. I usually park in secure "security" car parks. I just wondered if GB cars were ever targeted specifically, as I have never witnessed malice towards myself over there. Polish people are usually very friendly and welcoming :)

Life / Car Crime in Poland [28]

Dzien Dobry :)

I am a new member, but not new to Poland. I have been there many times. I am thinking of going again in a couple of months and I was wondering what the car crime is like in the Southern parts of Poland, specifically, Krakow, Krosno and Solina areas. I have never experienced car crime there before and I do drive a very expensive car, but Ive heard a few horror stories lately of cars being stolen or broken into.

Has anyone any advice about driving round Poland/parking etc.

Also, on the look out for a stunning Polish woman as a travelling companion on a regular basis ;)

Czesc for now !
