News / What should Poland do with the problem of Belarus? [1694]

where human life has no value and people don't give way to ambulances.

There is a lot of places in a such big city, where blocking one road create a trap for thousands of commuters, who cannot do anything except waiting until police will take care about real cause of jam, be it road accident or crowd of stupid sh*theads rallying for leader of their sect.

There is simply no chance to give a way, no extra lanes on road that is reserved for emergency services. When buildings were constructed, problems was mostly with horse manure on roads, not with traffic jams.

Sorry, but this is a free discussion forum, not Russia :)

You can discuss anything. Nobody will complain.

But when you will try to tell us what we should do (by your opinion), we will tell you to which kind of hell you should go (by our opinion).

If you want to assure that your opinion matter in some country - emigrate there and get local citizenship, together with electoral rights. Any notations from abroad and from people whose interests in welfare of another state will be met with middle finger.

Before you discuss whether Lukashenko's 80% or Assad's 95% is real, go there and talk to people (not just Soros' chicks at rallies). And then (if you have correct passport) start to worry about finding out where the decisive percentages came from after midnight in an election in a country that is trying to teach everyone about democracy, including with rocket fire.

And, unfortunately, story is true, it was 4 yrs ago...

The putinist's greatest worry are traffic jams in Moscow :)

My mother died on my hands from heart attack because ambulance was unable to cross densely clogged road to SVO for extra half of hour. This was accident.

But, since then, anyone, who intentionally make traffic jams will never get any support for me, even if they will be accompanied by Jesus Christ and crowd of angels. More likely I will take any possible measures to make them lifetime clients of dantists.

So, STFU and MYOB.

You lose twice...

I don't think so.....

police intervention when protests become dangerous

Once protesters block roads and prevent operation of firefighters and ambulances - it is not peaceful protest anymore. Do you want to die from heart attack because peaceful protesters does not allow paramedics to reach you timely?

What Navalny tend to do in Moscow. Their organization requesting place for mass meeting from mayor office, receiving a list of places that can be approved, choosed one... And immediately before meeting time using Twitter and Telegram changed place to one of streets or places where crowd clog whole center of city in "10 out of 10" traffic jams. Do you think 12+ million city liked such "freedom" from 2-3 thousand of brainwashed youngsters?

what response to electoral fraud is appropriate?

As I can see (if, of course, the U.S. is the standard of democracy) correct responce is to shut up, swallow, and fear to look to the side where BLM crowds "protesting".

Can't you do any better than that?

Will not even try. Can only quote - "this is not your fcuking business". Care about your own country and your own government first.

What specific crimes is he being accused of?

Against Protasevich there are three corpus delicti - the first is part three of article 130 of the Criminal Code (committing deliberate acts aimed at inciting social hatred on the grounds of professional affiliation), providing for 5 to 12 years' imprisonment. In addition, the case is filed under Part 1 of Article 293 (organization of riots), providing for imprisonment of 5 to 15 years, as well as Article 342 - the organization and preparation of acts of gross violation of public order, or active participation in them (the maximum penalty is imprisonment up to three years)".

Possible participation in foreign armed forces in Donbass is not yet on the list of charges, but the investigation is ongoing. So, if he really a "Naaaaziiiiii", it will be the а cherry on top of the cake.

Maybe the guy was a 'Joker'.

Unlikely. I suspect that it was their former colleagues. Stepan Putilo maybe. Their "divorce" with Protasevich was, reportedly, with a conflict.
And so cheap and really total revenge was just one email away....

Not a single argument on why it's good to hijack a plane to arrest a political dissident....

Arrest of wanted criminal was nice bonus to diverting potentially dangerous plane with reported bomb on board from vicinity of operational nuclear plant.

BTW: Did you heard exchange between Ryanair pilots and air control?

Because he and his sole supporter have nothing to offer.....

Because I don't plan and don't want to offer you something on this matter. You are fed to the roof by propaganda and it is counter-productive to ruin your imaginary world. ;)

Highly likely (tm) you will be unable to present any proofs of what you said in court. Are you ready to accept accusation in your own address based on the same level of argumentation?

Surely much better!

Yes, of course. You have to be pleasing only to one tsar. Not to hundreds of miserables, each of which demand something odd, like kisses in their black arse as a slavery reparation or specific gender pronoun. ;)

In the meantime, just for reference, the US has 4 times as many in prisons as the world's average.

It is too big business to sell slave inmate labor to big corporations, to simply stop it.

It has been known since the time of Einstein that the legal field is distorted near large monetary masses, and when the legal field is heavily distorted, a horizon of events can arise, leading to a fundamentally unobservable sub-horizon space.

You see the poisoning of a leader of the opposition as "weak"?

I see it as hardly laughible standup show with a stupid script.

They got caught, that was stupid....not weak!

In your fantasies and in imaginary reality, created by MSM.

For example?

For example - whole story with Navalny poisoning. At first, absolutely stupid script, where a group of FSB toxicology experts hunt for them whole year just to find a moment and plant a portion of absolutely deadly WMD to their trousers to kill them (I think some drug addict with a knife will be far more productive and cheap). Then Navalny does not die (suddenly) and fell in coma (just to remember - scientist who has been ocassionally exposed to Novichok in the lab got immediate treatement, survived, but ended their life quite soon and been deeply disabled). Then international part of show started - and every step of good will from Russia caused only more heavier accusations and more rediculous demands. And show continued until Navalny started to frame german Chancelor personally. Then he found itself on board of a plane to Moscow and to prison.

I've long said that Russia (the state) has nothing to offer people who are intelligent and honest.

I strongly doubt that current western elites is so much honest. They is well trained how to do "honest faces" though, but that's all....

And about being intelligent and educated... Judging by the "soap operas" arranged in recent years to "propagandize" new sanctions against Russia, the script writers are not very knowledgeable at all. And they have problems with logic.

But one thing always comes through. Any attempts by Russia to behave peacefully are seen as weakness. Any agreement with the demands - as a pretext for new ridiculous claims, with no end in sight.

Those who have read Bulgakov's The Master and Margarita must remember the phrase "it will be given to each according to his faith. You have assured yourself that Russia is your mortal enemy, and you act accordingly. You will receive according to your faith in the end.

@mafketis, @pawian

Many people told that pets after a time become somewhat similar to their masters... ;)

So, brilliant quote on this matter. ;)

> The English are well known throughout the world for their lack of political scruples. They are experts at the art of hiding their misdeeds behind a facade of virtue. They have been at it for centuries, and it has become such a part of their nature that they hardly notice it any longer. They carry on with such a pious expression and deadly seriousness that they even convince themselves that they are the exemplars of political virtue. They do not admit their hypocrisy to themselves. It never happens that one Englishman says to another with a wink or a smile "We don't want to fool ourselves, do we now." They do not only behave as if they were the model of piety and virtue - they really believe that they are. That is both amusing and dangerous.

@Bratwurst Boy

The former head of the NEXTA telegram channel Roman Protasevich was in the ranks of the Nazi regiment "Azov", when "Azov" in September 2014 - July 2015 destroyed the infrastructure and the civilian population of the village Shyrokyne near Mariupol. This was stated by the leader of the "National Corps" and commander of "Azov" Andriy Biletsky.

"Roman in fact, together with "Azov" and other military units of Ukraine fought against the occupation of Ukraine. He was with us in Shyrokyne, was wounded," said Biletsky.

The Nazi added that still Protasevich's main weapon in Donbass "was a word, not a machine gun."

The fact of Protasevich's participation in crimes against the population of Donbass is confirmed by his father Dmitry Protasevich, an active Belarusian opposition activist. According to him, the law enforcement authorities of Belarus initiated criminal proceedings against his son back in 2014, when Roman Protasevich was in Ukraine and fought in the Donbass on the side of the Ukrainian army.

The father of the "zmagar" is a career military officer, who previously taught at the ideological work department of the Military Academy in Minsk. At the beginning of May the President of Belarus Aliaksandr Lukashenka deprived Dzmitry Protasevich of the military rank of lieutenant colonel in the reserve for actions that discredited the high rank of an officer of the Armed Forces of Belarus. The demotion caught Dzmitry Protasevich in Poland, where his son moved him last year.

EADaily recalls that a photo of Protasevich in full Azov uniform and with a submachine gun was published in July 2015 in Azov's glossy magazine "Black Sun". Service in Azov, as well as any cooperation with this Nazi organization, is considered a grave crime against the Belarusian state in Belarus. Biletsky's confession, as well as the statements of the "zmagar's" father, can aggravate the guilt of the "zmagar" and lead to a more severe punishment for him than is provided by the criminal case against him now.

( eadaily.com/ru/news/2021/05/26/bileckiy-sdal-protasevicha-on-byl-s-nami-v-shirokino )

or do you really believe he won 80% of the vote?

Do you really believe that Biden really won elections in US?

And I doubt that Lukashenko really received 80%, but for sure he got a lot more than 50% anywhere, except extremely "fronding" Minsk.

BTW: I was in Minsk last time right before start of coronacrisis. When you last time visited Belarus to get your own opinion?

Time for Poland and the baltic states to shut down land borders, and sanction any companies that do business with Belarus.

Do it! ASAP! I already put a bottle of Crimean Champaigne on ice to celebrate this. ;)

No. Laptop and phone of protests coordinator was too sweet treasure trove for KGB to leave it unexplored. ;) I think, some people in BY started to urgently pack most valuable things, but for many of them it will be too late. ;)

Do you have some statements made by him which support that accusation of him being a neo-nazi?

Frankly, I have more important things to do, rather than urgently try to find references for you. (Tomorrow you'll not find anything using Google as I can see by cleaning up wiki texts).

Quick career (till leutenant) in regiment that is considered Neo-nazi even by US House of Representatives - is it not enough?

But no proof at all! If you have anything more than that please post it....

"Cleaning" of any "online" traces of their history between 2014-2020 is underway right now. Yesterday, May 24 there was note on their Wiki page about their participation in "Azov", today it was cleaned up completely (admin access?). There was interview with him where he mentioned their period in Azov - right now I was unable to find this video. Cover of "Black Sun" newsletter,(No 15 / 2015) printed by "Azov" contain Protasevich photo with machine gun ( vk.com/doc-86003658_406256029 ). Anatoly Shariy in their video blog mentioned their attempt to use special software to verify facial features - and highly likely it is really Protasevich photo (youtube.com/watch?v=rUja2It_mcI approx. from 02:20). By the way - first article in "Black Sun" criticises US government, that excluded "Azov" from support and training programs due to their neo-nazi nature. Second article is deeply homophobic... Read it if you want, there is PDF file that can be copied and put to google translate. For example, here is opening fragment of first article, translated by Google... Unfortunately. DeepL does not support ukrainian.

> On June 10, thanks to the efforts of Congressmen John Conyers and Ted Yoho, the US House of Representatives passed an amendment to the 2015 Defense Expenditure Bill. Thanks to it, the Azov Regiment can be excluded from the entire program of training Ukrainian soldiers by American specialists. However, the congressmen did not stop there and in their amendment pointed out the inadmissibility of providing Ukraine with MANPADS.

Is he a Nazi?

Try to study the history of this bastard's adventures after Maidan in 2014, and find out who formed the backbone of the "Azov" Special Forces, where he began his "career". I don't think there will be any questions left.

That's so you won't be surprised if the competition for firing squad volunteers comes to 50 people per place. ;)
