Australia / Polish mum and folks in Sydney [22]

Hi

I am looking for a Polish mamy i maluchy group. I am on the upper north shore and looking to meet up regularly with other mothers. My boys are 3 and 1. Anyone interested? Did any of you meet up?

Australia / Australian Spouse Visa For The Polish [13]

Hi
My Polish husband was recently granted permant residency in Australia - we applied while living in the uk, but through the immigration office in Berlin. I don't know about your eligibility to sponsor Weronika ( I am an Australian citizen) but the defacto partner visa is reasonably straight forward. The most important aspect is proving you have had a "genuine and continuing" relationship - basically that you have lived in a marriage like situation for at least a year. The more evidence you can provide the better- we had things like leases, electricity bills, invitations to weddings etc addressed to us both, holiday reservations.... Things like that.

I remember the embassy in Berlin had a different application procedure to the one in London, or even the immigration website, so read through the information and print the forms from their website. And it takes six months.

Alright, best of luck...

Dorota.

Australia / How to import my car to Australia from Poland? [26]

Witam Eva and Marcin

I have been following your car plight on the forum - I hope that you managed to find some sort of solution.

My husband and I are fairly new to Perth (he is from Warsaw, I am Polish/Australian), and we are always keen to meet new people. We live NOR, so if you are keen to meet for a beer or BBQ in the park please drop me a line.

P.S I should warn you, we have 1,5 crazy monkeys (boys) that restrict our movements a little bit.

Australia / Mother's groups in Perth - I am looking to meet up with some other Polish mothers [20]

Hello everyone
I am just new to the forum, and also just new to Perth. I live NOR and I am looking to meet up with some other Polish mothers for a small playgroup. My husband and I are trying to teach our son Polish - and I would like him to learn that more people in the world speak Polish then just his mother and father!

Also it would nice to meet some more people in Perth. We have been here for three months now, and outside of playgroup and my husbands work we don't know too many people.

Cheers

Dorota
