Life / Why Polish singers are not popular abroad? [95]

yes exactly. Look at how atrocious the poorly translated English version of neun und neunzig luftballoons was - even the singer hated singing it in English.

Ok she was German not Polish but still...

and as well as the lovely Nena from Berlin, everybody has heard of Nina Hagen and she never felt obliged to sing in English.

Food / What do non-Poles think about eating the following Polish foods? [1303]

reminds of the worst kind of food that people ate in UK 50 years ago.

Other than the weird jelly stuff i find Polish cuisine delightful though. i am always sniffing around the Polski Skleps

When i was a kid ( not quite 50 years ago but not far off) some friend of my mother's served up a chicken jelly...and salad....gross...

Love / Do Polish Women age well? [153]

Well maybe these middle aged 'females ' are sick of being regarded as your w'@nk fodder.
Just a thought.
Women get those veins usually after childbirth.
In magazines they would be airbrushed out.

Food / British food products in Poland? [334]

Yes but the difference would be between say...a doner and a shish.
Nothing wrong with lamb shish, pitta and salad, nutritionally.
Doner on the other hand ...hmm well ...

Language / "Poles" or "Polish people" - which is better to use? [199]

Yeh words like 'Spaniard' or ' Frenchman' are kind of obsolete.

I had to get rid of a Spanish person off my fb cos all he posted was stuff about the evils of British Empire and how stupid and undereducated Brits are.

I was like 'mate worry about your own savage colonial history and it's aftermath before crying about ours'. Lol.

The kind of person who think Britain still having Gib is 'wrong ' unarguably but see Ceuta and Mellila as ....just fine.

Kondzior you missed my point. Never mind.

Anyway I agree with you Novichoke men and women are handy in different ways. Nobody would dispute that.

I mean no doubt I could handle a baseball bat or a nine bore if pushed but I would far rather a man did it. Or maybe I couldn't. Would rather not find out.

There are a few terrifying and legendary women who run pubs and do their own bouncing, usually Irish lol.

You may think.you're joking novichoke but that's the truth of it. Women's sports are being erased. Soon there will be men's sports and mixed sports.

Anyway seeking equality of educational or promotional opportunity, for example , doesn't mean I want to play rugby with men don't be so extreme its silly. Xx

The most equal sport is three day eventing. The problem.is you also need heaps of cash and nerves of steel, male or female.

Ah yes 'good manners and class'...or in other words #be kind as the trans lobby constantly exhort us women, while threatening to 'kill a TERF' . .

Or in other words 'put up and shut up biatch'.

PS TERF = trans exclusionary radical feminist

Wtf . Our religion is not your business JR. Step off.
If I went to church/mosque /synagogue /chapel /gurdwara...I certainly wouldn't share it here.

Yes women are socialised to be agreeable. That is why some people get so.upset when they join a discussion.

That's also why the 'trans women are women ' mob have got away with their attempts to erase womanhood but that's a whole other thread and probably nothing to with Poland.

Anyway JR your spite and hatred really don't make you good a good advert for church attendance.
