UK, Ireland / Are Polish people importing a new wave of ancient racism into the UK? [402]

I'm not real big on tree huggers either. Here and there that ideology is used to steal land from people. Eminent domain for parks etc only makes more landless and homeless peasants. Plus they use these 'environmental' ideas to make the general populace feel guilty about pollution etc. and then they use this stuff to make regulations that put working people out of business.

Problem is, most pollution is caused by big factories. eg; The privileged classes who profit.

In australia there is a big fight going on about the carbon footprint of cattle. cattle poo and farts. Seems people have decided that the symbiotic relationship humans have enjoyed with herds of cattle since the beginning of time, is now wrong. So anyway, about 50% of australia's ranch land (A LOT) and open range will no longer be allowed to be grazed. That means, the people who own that land and intended to graze cattle can no longer support their families. They will be unemployed as dictated by the govt.

Of course, great big oil spills all over the planet can be overlooked. This is not a carbon footprint apparently.

I am trying to figure out why i need to pay taxes to supposedly pay to cleanup after private corporations.

but back on topic, since polish people rarely encountered blacks in ancient times, I don't think this could possibly be ancient racism, if it even exists.

I doubt the EU guilt is genuine.

A lot of these foreigners are quite accustomed to really poor living conditions. They are often de-humanized to an extent and they really do not think like you do. They have seen war, they have lived it.. They do kill for Nike sneakers.

Polish culture needs this, according to the EU. America needs it too, Britain, Germany.. people who have no idea what the term 'civil rights' means... among many other things.

Especially, it would be good for these foreigners to vote in your elections, according to the EU and IMF.

Gosh, how on earth could the african lands be mined if all these people were still there? They cannot just kill everyone over there, the world would be in uproar. The world accepts small scale genocide, that's all. One or 3 million dead seems ok, and past that people get anxious. But imagine if diamond mine workers really demanded to get paid for a days work. Imagine if central american workers unionized and demanded a fair wage? .. it would no longer be lucrative to build factories in Mexico or Africa or Asia if workers everywhere demanded fair wages and fair pay for their lands which the merchants desire. It is not in the corporations' greedy self interest to pay anyone anything. So that type of thinking does not work, for them, and you have to learn to think like they need you to think.. And unless the polish people are reduced to same way of thinking, the slave wage way of thinking, like a drone worker bee... the EU won't succeed either, because it is not just the European Union, it is an economic union. Rarely is a large american or british corporation (with investors worldwide), brought to justice, because they own the politicians.

It's not really that black people in large numbers are dangerous.. but it's the de-humanization process, which many of them have been through as a result of war, that is dangerous. Dumping bunches of these people on Poland would surely have a positive effect, in the eyes if the EU and IMF.

I think the corporations will only be happy when we are all slaves. And if they cannot do it via low wages they will do it via taxes. Far as I can tell, most of the world thinks of Poland as backward still. My grandparents were brought to this country as low wage workers, east european slavs. slaves. Lucky for them, they were about to experience the unionization of much of the american workforce. And so they did ok, because they fought for higher wages instead of accepting a bag of peanuts at days end.

Of course we have seen the fight for workers rights disintegrate here the past 20 years. Thanks to NAFTA and a zillion Mexicans mainly. American blacks do not usually work for real low wages, they know better. My fear for Poland, is that the people are too gracious, too willing to be a part of something 'bigger' (EU) and they haven't taken the time to read between the lines. Wages in the USA have not risen since the introduction of NAFTA almost 20 years ago (wages have dropped in many places), while the cost of living has skyrocketed. Mexico is a drug ridden garbage dump.

I picked up a dvd movie a while back called 'Bordertown', filmed mainly in Juarez, Mexico. You should have a look, there are other good films and documentaries out there too.

and I saw this somewhere last week .. GOD = gold, oil, drugs. Appropriate for the religion of the world govt.

UK, Ireland / Are Polish people importing a new wave of ancient racism into the UK? [402]

jarnowa

In Belgium and Holland, immigrant youth is terrorizing the streets because the tolerance fanboys say it is racist to punish them hard.

Not just Belgium and Holland.

This is happening in most every european-based predominantly white society, including the USA. Iceland might be an exception.

It's by design though, not an accident at all, not coincidence. These people are lured by the promise of jobs, often they are brought over to work cheap. Conditions are really bad in the places a lot of these people come from. You can't blame them from wanting leave places like the oil soaked Nigerian delta. They are dying in droves over there. The Mexicans living in cardboard boxes just over border (they work in the NAFTA factories, they live in cardboard huts) are another example.

As an example of what goes on.. there is a war in the congo.. the people of the Congo did not want to allow foreign corporations to mine their lands. They are right in doing so, because the corporations leave a really big poisonous mess everywhere they go. So what happens? The corporations fund the military of neighboring countries to invade the Congo and make the mining opportunities safer for investors. The native Congo population is decimated and relocated. You see the military organizations doing the fighting, but were you aware of who supplies their arms and munitions and why?

England however once owned black countries and now they are brainwashed that because of their past, anyone from India/Pakistan/Caribean has the right to live in UK, despite the fact they haven't suffered from colonialism.

ditto

except the world model has changed.. whereas England's ship's use to sail the seas and colonialize other countries/places/people rather dramatically, and fly the British flag.. today it is still happening... minus the flag. But rather than looking directly at the queen of England or the royal family of Norway or wherever.. you have to look at where they are invested. They now use the cover of 'corporations' for their colonialism and raping of foreign lands and slavery of foreign populations via extremely low wage, often dangerous, jobs.

From what I understand, the Vatican is the world's wealthiest organization. You might check out where they are invested as well.

News / Russia, Poland ready agreement on visa-free travel [71]

Isnt it great - all those highly educated Ruskies coming over willing to work for 3zl an hour :D Just think how grateful your businesses will be for these hard working people who will be willing to take the jobs that you lazy Poles wont do ;0)

Not working at low paying jobs that don't enable you to live a decent life is not lazy, it's smart. Saying people are too lazy to work when jobs don't pay is plain stupidity.

Probably you are just a youngster who has not worked very much, only unqualified people can make such statements as you make here. Maybe you yourself should go work for 3 zl an hour, or you could go to mexico, work in any number of NAFTA factories seeking cheap labor, around 5 dollars a day, perhaps a stint in a mine in Africa for 2 dollars a day would suit you.

Get back to us next year when your health is failing after you work all day in horrible conditions, often with poisonous materials.. sometimes 16 hours.. and can barely afford the shirt on your back. Tell us then how wise it is to work so cheap. Better yet, get stuck in the low wage cycle,, chances are excellent you won't even be with us in 5-7 years.

What with all of the worldwide banking and economic things we are seeing, you would think a realistic minimum wage, a living wage, would be forthcoming also. But no one talks of such a thing. We've got talk of world taxes to the IMF, talk of regulation for this and that ,even the air you breathe.. and nary a whisper for the plight of low paid workers worldwide, which is just another form of modern day slavery.

History / The Two Saddest Nations on Earth... Poles and Jews [171]

Gosh, I was here 1 time in April. 1 time. Probably the first time I visited in months.

But you know, one could say it is typically jewish, the way you behave.. telling other people they should go away so you can have your precious little spot in the sunlight.. when you have no right to do so.

Tell me, MG, what right do you have to tell me to go away? What real right? No right, we all know that.. yet you insist on playing your game every chance you get. Sure enough, I know you will also always deny doing these things to others.

Maybe a stroll in the park will help you remember.

If you had any idea what racism was you would recognize it in yourself first. everyone else does. Your pretense of being the liberal dutchman really only extends as far as the bowl on the end of your pot pipe. The rest is in your imagination (the part where the majority of others agree with you).

yeah, so just out curiosity MG, how many days did you fret over this person named Olga and accuse them of being me?

perhaps you should think about your behavior a little bit rather than advise others on theirs.

that just shows that multiculturalism is not really accomplishable

well, all you have to do is visit parts of Brooklyn NY where the jews congregate, and try to make laws for themselves to keep the other locals out, and your question will be answered.

maybe it is easier to ask why people feel threatened by the idea of the 'nation of islam'.

then we might understand better what happened to the (nation of) jews during WWII.

I hear God still walks daily through Warsaw. And Jesus walks through the old jewish ghetto without ridicule.

Gotta love the polish bible.

it never existed on a geo-political map prior to 1948. sorry. Israel only exists in the bible (which you yourself, MG, have declared a myth many times) under King David and Solomon for a couple hundred years at best. It is mostly symbolic.

Olga was probably just you playing the devil with yourself. sorry again, since I don't hang around here daily like you, I don't even know what Olga posted.

Your personal opinions aren't very helpful. What was so wrong with seanus' post and the other that you needed to request them deleted?

History / The Two Saddest Nations on Earth... Poles and Jews [171]

what nations is the OP referring to when he says the 2 saddest nations are poles and jews?

I know about Poland. But Israel is only 63 years young.

Perhaps therein lies the problem? After all, there is absolutely no denying that the jews themselves separated themselves as a separate entity from the general polish population, it was not the Germans or Polish who did this.

It kind of bothers me also when black people expect special treatment or entitlements from me, personally, because whites were slave owners at some point in the past in some place... of course in those instances there can be no doubt about who is black or who is white... nonetheless I have zero ancestors in the USA prior to 1900 so therefore, I am actually excluded from any attached guilt... nonetheless I can recognize, like most people, that segregation was generally forced upon blacks, not vice versa.. you'll notice how here and there when a person with black linage looks very white they also tend to mix very well with the white population. We cannot say this is true of east european jews.

so, who separated the jews and why should be the first questions here. (hint: it was not the germans or the polish).

'Jew' refers to a person's religious beliefs, perhaps their lineage. Pole does not refer to a person's religious beliefs, only their lineage. If a polish person from Warsaw PL were to move to Muncie Indiana, and if then the rest of Muncie, Indiana, recognized that person as the polish nation then perhaps it would be possible also to say that miscellaneous jewish people living around the world are also the jewish nation.

But this does not happen. To Poles, to Germans, to Dutch, to Japanese, to anyone, anywhere.

perhaps that is the only sad thing we need to discuss. the fact that 'jews' of all colors and creeds and lineage keep insisting that they are a nation. and dumb people everywhere look for the borders of the jewish nation until they get wise to the joke and it's utter impossibility.

I was reading somewhere that a bunch of orthodox ashkenazi jews were arrested in Israel for refusing to send their children to school with dark skinned sephardi jews. Interestingly enough, no one questions the origins of the sephardic jews. Yet, jews of east european origin often feel offended by the mere presence of Sephardic jews, as their own actions in Israel, today, make clear. Mostly the problem, in reality, is that the sephardic jews do not teach the Talmud like the orthodox ashkenazis do teach their children.

Most likely then, it was merely the oft unspoken desire of the 'jews' which demands separation and at least in their own minds, a better place above the rest of the despicable natural population of any given country.. because they truly believe they are better, they should be first, all of that we've all heard for so many years.. ideas which many 'jews' are prone to follow. We see this everywhere.. certain segments of populations screaming for rights and justice. They are clamouring mostly to be recognized as full-fledged citizens of their respective nations in which they now live. In the case of east european jewry however, history clearly shows a group of people claiming to nationals of a country which never existed (except in their own minds). We could say jewish nationalism is a myth to begin with. In fact we should say it. But at any rate, this jewish clamouring for equal rights and civil liberties extended far beyond the desire to simply be recognized. It also generally included demands for a 'jewish' nation with it's own set of laws for jews first and others second (quite discriminatory, just visit israeli law today for a quick rundown) within whatever nation the 'jews' in question found themselves at the moment.

The polish people have never demanded such a thing from other nations. So the comparison dead ends right there.

History / What British unit liberated Poland in 1945?? [445]

This case is simple - tons of Polish gold were evacuated to the UK. This is historic fact. Polish govt trusted Churchill. It was never returned to the rightful owner.

well, there is a reason Stalin allowed the Polish people to flee Russia for a bit, and I am sure it wasn't a simple matter of pretty please.

this would provide a reasonable explanation.. Stalin couldn't find the polish money.. Churchhill says.. we have the money.. and voila.. allies!!

Nor have I criticized all Christians. I just dislike those who dislike Jews ignoring the fact that Jesus,as well as all the prophets of your religion, was a JEW.

Yeah you should hear what Jesus had to say about some jews too. Those who say they are jews but are not...

anyway.. seanus

it occurred to me earlier.. there is one critical distinction I must make between denominations ( and also i am leaving out certain denoms that really are not christian like mormons, they are masons)

I had forgotten, it was of the big reasons I never returned to the catholic church, aside from being told that baptists are a cult by a priest.. but i bought their Vatican II catechism book, at a Catholic church around the corner where I lived then.. and I think its passage 80, maybe page 80, somewhere like that in there..

in which it says.. Catholics, Jews, and Muslims worship the same God.

Real jews? bad jews? You dislike both of them. You claim Jews are trying to destroy Christian Europe...for how many centuries have you, extremist Christians, said the same thing?
Was it us that started with secularism and the multi-cultural thing? Nope. I am sure you vote for left-wing parties that let mosques be built and so on.

Well, someone is doing it. I know for a fact the Jewish groups in the USA do push harder than anyone to secularize the schools. And they team up with the homosexuals a lot of the time to get this stuff out there. Fringe groups really, with noisy voices and lots of money, that's all.

I am sure you vote for left-wing parties that let mosques be built and so on.

no, actually I don't. but the leadership options we have had the past few elections.. more.. are hardly anything to praise either.

Seriously, and I'm sure you agree, there are good people and bad people in any 'group'. Unfortunately the whole world at this point seems to be running under some sort of very corrupt something or other and what we end up seeing a lot of is the worst of human behavior all over the place as a result.

My views really are quite moderate.. maybe now and then i post some of the more extreme views, but only because that is what people are saying.. I don't necessarily always agree with 100% of everything. rarely. But since those views are more commonplace than ever I do pay attention.. You really need to take a listen to the stuff that is on tv in the USA these days. Pretty extreme a lot of it, all sides, secular, jewish, christian, muslim.. all sides. people arguing. We actually cut off the cable television several months ago because it was so obnoxious and then the 'entertainment' shows even worse with all the vulgar stereotypes blatent sex and cursing etc. So obnoxious. you have the tv on.. and your kids are sitting there.. and even the commercials.. viagra viagra.. . yeah, Christians hate this stuff, and saying so is not extreme.

and it is really weird that jewish women are trying to make wearing burka-like clothing the newest great thing. I hate to have to point that out to you. What's next? Women are chattle? Some of the extreme jewish traditions.. and the extrem muslim traditions.. yes, obviously,

just LOOK.. they are the same exact thing from different sides of the street!

Jews have committed genocide on other people btw.. have you not read the Tanakh? Of course the history of Bolshevism/Soviet Russia is also hotly debated.

I have to agree. people are like this every where you go, it seems to simply be human nature to identify with your own 'group'.

I grew up in a place where pretty much every day was kick a pollack day. And that was with a large polish community nearby to kick,. And I will never forget, it was so funny.. I was probably 11 or 12 years old.. my parents take us on our regular summer vacation tour America thing.. we did that every summer when i was a kid.. one or two weeks.. my parents would drive us to visit some new place we had never been.. so this time we head toward Norfolk Virginia where I had an older cousin working for NASA.. and we are in this little store, Hampton maybe, I forget exactly.. my 2 sisters, my mom and myself.. and we are talking.. and I hear this little girl in the next aisle saying to her mother that we talk funny (no southern twang) and before you know it, this little girl, she must have been all of 8 years old about 3 feet tall.. comes straight up to me and kicks me. really hard, in the shin. She says at the same time 'Stupid yankee!"

OMG it was so funny.

You're a Christian extremist who is also an anti-semite.

It would appear that way.. I have no argument with your opinion.

Except that I am a Christian extremist.. umm.. not really, not even close. But your own views are rather extreme I do have to say.

Try using a mirror and call the spade a spade.

I have a great respect for Torah following jews.. have no doubt. You.. are obviously not one of them.

your people are actually... these people.. born of the same the same muslim dirt you mock in every way shape and form. Even real jews call your kind interlopers and usurpers.

timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/middle_east/article3499122.ece

and this thing your people are trying to enable.. the destruction of Christian europe.. is going to turn around and bite you so hard in the ass you won't recall your mother's name. Much less your zionism. and the rest of the world will be quite happy to forget it too.

Christianity will not die.. we know our God. You.. are completely lost.

Sad for Poland, indeed, that one woman who lived her life not being a Jew finds out she is a Jew and is now afraid that her in-laws will find out if she tells her children because ....

This may not be the place for this comment, but I give it a go:

well, likewise, I give it a go.. don't expect perfection on this because I cannot aptly describe the experience of being in his presence.. etc that stuff.

There are for sure, indications in the OT of a son, some son, in Isaiah we see this most notably.. you can go straight to genesis even.. and say.. if you believe that God created man, how much of a leap is it to say, He would send his son, or even have a son, or a few or more.. not of this earth.. in the OT in Job for instance.. we hear tales of the 'sons of God' and angels.. some have fallen, a third of them leaving.. 2 thirds are still with God.. we even hear of the daughters of God briefly.. so right off if you question that God has A son (not to mention many sons of God).. you are arguing with scripture..that's your choice.. I choose not to go there at this stage of my career.. We hear of angels being sent to Abraham to warn of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.. even they walked the earth as men.. I'll let you take that from there as that should be obvious enough and head in the right direction for more clues as to 'son' or 'sons' from on high.

Is Jesus God himself// some say yes.. I question that.. only sort of.. he is God.. in that the spirit of God is very strong with him.. a consuming fire if you will..major powerful.. not human.. really powerful spirit.. getting saved and being in his presence leaves no doubt of that.. an awakening moment.. pretty cool.. as Christians we are not really ever taught that Jesus IS God, the father himself.. though some do preach that, it's not really biblical, or strict doctrine.. we are taught however that Jesus is our mediator with God. And there is absolutely no doubt about that in my mind.

your own people say God stopped talking to man a long time ago.. some christians say it too.. i would agree.. but now he sends Jesus.. Yashua Hamashiach.. and He did not stop listening to our prayers.. even the blood crying out etc.. he has not stopped intervening.. but instead of meeting man like He met met Moses, now Jesus is the one He sends. And there appears to be an awful lot of authority vested in this guy Jesus.. because honestly, his presence sends you straight to your knees.

and you will never doubt again. takes about 5 seconds for that amazing insight, all the questions about God you ever had, to be answered.. to take place. It's just a shortened thing when we say Jesus is God.. what's usually meant is.. the authority of God.. Including an awesome amount of his power, glory and grace. He may have been born and walked this earth.,. but the invisible guy that saved me.. is not human.

Felt his hands on me a few times too through the process.. like a person standing right next to me.. I was one of those people who said.. i am a good person.. what sin.. how much sin do i have ( i could name a few things that's all).. you know what he did to me in my obstinance? He put his hand on my head. It felt it just like a human hand on my head.. I am sitting there saying to myself.. this is not real.. not happening.. I swear.. his hand on my head and my entire life flashes before my eyes in a few minutes time.. he shows me lots of sin..

I repented indeed. He is God. Or of God.. or very close, whichever you prefer I really don't think the details of that truly matter one little bit, as God sends him to us to do His will.

I have read here and there in Christian doctrine that Jesus is our judge, he comes to judge. I think there may be some of that in Isaiah as well. And it very much describes my experience. better to be judged, and forgiven by Jesus I am real sure, than to face the judgement seat of God as simply a righteous man. In his presence.. my life.. felt like nothing.. he is much more alive than we are.. his spirit exudes life. fills the room.. He imparts certain things of that to us also. if anything ails you.. you get healed in his presence. amazing. you're never the same after that.

Yes, he is God. Maybe not directly the father.. but so close..

If he is real, then he must be some bloodthirsty mofo, excuse my expression.

No, He's not, not at all, quite the opposite. God is love, really.. you know, and this the big thing.. when people get saved especially at the first moment when God, through Jesus btw, reveals himself.. His spirit, this massive thing that literally shakes the house.. he is Love. and Life.. Peace .. using CAPS for a reason..awesome amazing. no human words to describe it.. not in our vocabulary.. not human.. but an experience many humans have had, with God.. Jesus.

The bloodshed, that is a human thing. when man tries to play God, lots of trouble.

I'm real sure God was there for lots of people, moving them out of the way of trouble. He has done it for me a few times in my life as well. That, is a relationship with Him you need to establish.. takes time, perseverance, and the word you hate most, faith. Faith.. to trust Him even when things don't seem to make sense to us.

Well of course, Seanus, acutely aware.

But those tenets are only truly applicable to people who do not really seek God. they go to church on sunday, they sit in the pews, they absorbs stuff like sponges, they never think for themselves.

You are going to find that everywhere, in every religion, in every church, even among athiests.

in essence what I am trying to say, is that a person, no matter their church or even religious background, when they seek God,, they find him, and none of that matters anymore. But.. these people still go to church.. so you cannot look a at church of any denomination and say.. oh, these people are fools. it just doesn't work that way.

faith is very individual matter.. grouping all people of a denomination into a category of left, right, wrong, right.. doesn't work.

Go, Seanus, visit the churches like I have.. sit with the people get to know them, who they are.. you will see what i have seen.. good people, bad people, everywhere.. all mixed together. basically you have to let faith into the picture here and understand that God will work this out for those who truly seek Him.

Give the Catholic church credit they are due Seanus.. the strength (and numbers) of that organization, for better or worse depending on the year.. has nonetheless held communities together and maintained the faith during times of hardship like they have seen in Poland, Russia etc. Even Cuba, strong catholic faith there. There is something about this organization that works really well here and there throughout history.

Not certain i can put my finger on it perfectly exactly at the moment yet though. Send me some ideas! I just know what I see, it's undeniable.

You know, for all the bad things we could say about the church.. also, much of europe's (and America's freedom) is due to the catholic church.. protestantism came later and elaborated that in matters of faith, and freedom to worship. Especially for women.. who were treated as chattle during the time of Christ.. by jews.. by muslims still today.. at the time of Christ.. the jews were actually even debating as to whether or not women even had souls. Christianity is descended from judaism, minus the teachings of the Talmud. If it were not for the Catholic church.. and the insistence on certain values.. women everywhere might be wearing burkas today. which obviously would affect every other sector of society.

Cheehaw, you are telling me that there is no critical difference between a Catholic and a Protestant? Wow, what a great reason to have a Catholic/Protestant divide in Belfast :( Your sticker is green and mine is blue so let's attack each other, LOL. Pitiful!

But you are talking politics, and I am talking faith.

Politics and faith don't really mix. Expect problems.

It's been a REALLY long time since I looked into the catholic/protestant irish thing. Sin fein, the irish defense groups, all of that. But if I remember correctly.. the protestants pretty much came from England, the native irish populations were heavily discriminated against.. under British rule to force ireland into the empire .. were kept from jobs etc.. ended up up in dire poverty because they were irish and catholic.. .. we could go to the famines that never really were etc.. This is all so much more about politics and British subjection of the Irish than faith.

I don't know.. faith wise.. from my perspective I don't see all that much difference between the church of england that calls itself protestant and the catholic church under the pope in Ireland. They seem very similar, catechisms, sacraments, etc.. I am sure though I don't know all the details of the anglican church either.. that one I have never visited, just read about here and there. But historically, England has gone back and forth on the issue of catholic/protestant during the past 400-500 years, depending who sat on the throne. Bloody Mary and that aftermath is even the reason a lot of the protestant pilgrims originally came to America.

As a note, many parents who want their children to have religious instruction at school have decided not to send their children as the school could not provide any information about the person providing the instruction nor could they provide a program of instruction for the year.

I can understand that would be a big concern. Considering history, you never know when someone is going to come along and start using religion to assert their political views and agendas.

I have always kind of felt (as an adult, as a child I didn't comprehend the issue) that my Polish family's reverence of the pope is more than just a little bit misguided. I'm pretty sure, but not absolutely certain, that if I had stuck with that mindset I would have never gotten saved.

I've had one issue since I was kid that has made me question things along these lines.. when I was 7 or so.. my mom bought me a children's bible.. this big thick thing.. she didn't want to buy it for me.. I insisted.. it was illustrated real pretty.. catholics don't always read the bible keep that in mind.. (my sister bought my grandmother, at age 75 or so, her first bible, as an example) they learn catechism.. anyway.. shortly after I read that, and I did love it.. it was only NT, not much OT in there.. I had a couple really weird experiences.. I saw this ghost in my bedroom at night, twice, wearing a monks robe, a dark brown.. and when the thing looked at me, under the hood there was no face, just a very black space.. which struck as me as very evil. So I grew up sort of thinking, there must be lots of priests and popes in hell. And you couldn't shake that from me because of that ghost.. But at the same time, I looked for God because I needed answers. Kind of haunted me all my young life, that experience. Today though, I realize, in any church, there are good leaders and bad leaders.

God is real MareGaea, He isn't a figment of anyone's imagination, but many people like to imagine that as truth.. it's a lie though.

Deceit was rampant before 9/11 and all it needs is the manipulators to sweep it under the carpet. It's all in the interpretation of what info/intel you think you have. With technology comes doctoring/butchering and selective application.

Which is exactly why people like the JDL are working so hard to define hate laws. there is too much information for them to sweep away anymore so they have to try to legislate it.

but they won't succeed. people talk you know. they always will.

What, for you, is the critical/defining difference between a Catholic and a Protestant?

There is no critical difference Seanus. I have met many many very faithful in every church I have ever visited (at least 10-12 different denominations over the years).. and their faith is quite real everywhere... with the exception of 'modern' churches that are today allowing things like homosexuality and other things to creep in. Those can be very cold churches, you feel it just sitting there. rather odd. empty. simply cold.

Everyone is in a different place in their walk Seanus, but the goal, for the individual, setting politics of church heirarchy aside, is the same.

fraud and deceit flourish when opportunity exists Seanus, you are not so naive to not realize that.. most of the horrors in the world.. history.. are crimes of opportunity. Today.. the past 10-15 years really only.. we have digital media that has really opened the floodgates of information.. instant video.. this is a historical thing really. It is no longer possible for deceit to be as rampant.. people everywhere have cameras.. cellphones..

catholic.. well nothing put me off really.. I got saved after not going to church for 15 years, just looking for God, you know.

I couldn't return to the catholic church because they teach that other churches (baptist, whatever) are cults and by then I had so many friends in other churches.. what was the use of buying into that idea. I did try though.. but left after being told that again.. that baptist and other churches are cults. eh. I am not into we are the first and only church thing.

I respect the catholic church. But like any large organization it allows.. for opportunities of corruption.. that smaller churches don't have to deal with as much, that's all. The catholic church has it's pros and cons. Keep in mind it was established a very long time ago, it fulfilled a purpose back then... organized armies, fought the muslims.. etc.

They don't have to live with that? Some do!

no not really, it's the old guard enabled that, had they known they surely would not have allowed it. a new generation is taking over in congress etc.. more informed.

Are you still a Catholic, cheehaw?

no uh uh.

non-denominational.

America took their side a long time ago so they have to live with that.

American support has been gained through a lot of fraud and deceit.

They don't have to live with that.
