Life / Making Real Friends in Poland [9]

TheOther
I have been left Poland for quite a number of years, and I still have those friends and will always have them. There are false friends and, and true friends and I will always have true friends because I am a true person, and Polish people can distinguish, between false and true.l

Polish people are very spirtual no matter what occasions is.

Do you mean that if they like someone , it is in their heart, they know straight away male or female.

Law / The 'Secret' of Poland's Economic Success [83]

High levels of trust in the government

[Now I know that you are joking. The credibility of the Polish government is about as credible as the credentials of a "used car salesman".

UK, Ireland / Brits to protest against foreigners in the workforce, including Poles. [289]

you'll have more 18 year olds looking for work simply because they cant get places at British universities,

I thought that everyone was guaranteed a place at university these days. Except of course those incredibly "thick ones" who get a place anyway and do "sports theory"

Work / Is it normal for companies/schools in Poland to be rude? [116]

A few things to consider:

Mafketis, just out of interest, what is the situation for special needs or "learning difficulities" as it is now called.

Is there still such a stigma attached to disabilities, or is it changing gradually. Are there provisions made for autistic children and an inclusion in the schools, or are they ignored.

This is something I have been thinking about for a while. I am sure there was a large autism research centre in Gdnask, I read about it somewhere, but cannot find any information on the internet.

Life / 3 reasons why winter is the best time of the year in Poland [58]

There is a whole world outside of Poland full of smiling people and 30 day exchange policies on defective goods.

I forgot about that one. Anyone tried taking defective goods back to M1, they look at you like you have two heads!
