Its all relative - but I can find out what our Engineers are paid in our offices in the States if you like, I doubt very much they are paid any more than our Engineers in the UK, but then again I suppose it depends on what kind of Engineer you are it covers a broad spectrum, wouldnt you agree?

How much money does an electrical engineer make on average in the UK?

There are plenty of opportunities for engineers in America. America is in demand for more of them especially since very few American students become engineers. Also, the salary for engineers in America is pretty damn high. I'm pretty sure American engineers are paid more than most European engineers...

HAHAHA! Birth control/condoms have like a 1% failure rate. It's VERY unlikely that they used either of those. (assuming the pregnancy was unintentional)

What are you going on about? It's the year 2010 and we have many advanced contraceptive techniques to use to avoid pregnancy if you really have to have sex. All I'm saying is that if this jackass wasn't planning on having a baby then he is clearly irresponsible and in lack of intelligence.

A lot of those words are just simplified versions of the traditional words. For example, sandwich is actually properly referred to as kanapka (I'm not sure if I spelled that right).

Preaching does have a primary meaning that you guys are familiar with but this is English; words can have multiple meanings and so it is ok to say she was preaching to me and my friend. Stick to your German bratwurst. I'm an American and I think I know my language better than you.

I don't know how you got that idea but the reason why I capitalized Poles was because it was extremely surprising since Poles are clearly white people. Although still to this day a lot of morons from western Europe think they're a pure race. It always puts a smile on my face whenever an "Aryan" girl is dating a black guy or an Arab.

I guess I should've capitalized Jews as well since I view white Jews as white as any other Europeans.

We had a German racist girl in my college. This girl was absolutely nuts. She was preaching about how German people are a beautiful pure race and that they shouldn't mix with disgusting blacks, Jews, and POLES. I don't know what the **** her problem was but she seemed to be influenced by Hitler's ideology that Slavs are an impure race.

The funny thing is that when I saw her two months later she was dating a black man LOL! I guess her views changed quickly.
