In my opinion , you should thank all the Jews who after the war helped the Polish patriots , persecuted and murdered by the Soviet forces ' public security' just because they wanted to Polish free and sovereign . The Jews had great opportunities to help , because many of them held high positions in the party apparatus and the Soviet Polish police .
