Genealogy / Polish looks? [1462]

No Trooper, you make ME laugh.

I understand what you mean. Before I couldn't tell much difference between Asians, but after having embracing some Asian studies I do. I am a half Greek and half Pole. My Greek side gave me dark hair and eyes and Polish side pale white skin. lol. Nonetheless I hate it when people compare all the Slavic nations together. Get over it people, they're not the same. Especially Poland which is half Tartaric and half Slavic. Also for those combining the Southern Slavs, you should probably go there and see for yourself, many of them look Mediteranean and have different Slavic features than those of the north.

Love / Polish Girls negative or positive personality trait? [267]

Many are anorexic. Too concerned about what others think of them. Skinny on the outside, but mentally insecure on the inside.
The fat ones at least don't care what others say and have confidence in themselves because who cares what they look like?

I wouldn't say anorexic but rather fit and thin, or average to chubby. But that's just me after having been to Poland many times.

Love / How to please Polish women? [216]

George8600:
Sorry this essay of mine has typos and bad grammar, I typed it up too fast
That's okay, your thesis is very nice and quite understandable.

Haha thanks for calling it a thesis, that's where studying too much philosophy and literature than is good for you and a bunch of crushes on polish girls gets you. :-p

Life / Polish stereotypes of other nationalities!? [472]

MareGaea, please don't get me wrong, I'm not angry or anything. ^_^

I am half Greek and half Polish. For the stereotype you just mentioned it is quite true. However, I love history as a whole, and especially from the baroque/renaissance to romantic era. But yes, I have met Greeks whom are greedy. As for their women, I have GIVEN UP on them. Idk what it is, whether it's the beautiful or just average ones, their extremely hard to get and stuck up. I know I shouldn't be generalizing like that, but I have had much better experiences with Polish women. And overall I do like Polish women better in both mind and body.

Love / How to please Polish women? [216]

Well, I'll put off that rude comment you made about Greek people on the stereotype forum and help you. To show you that I'm not greedy or rude.

So then, let me help you.

Be affectionate, Polish girls are well brought up and want a truly dedicated lover, they don't want someone looking off beyond her or going to places without her a lot. Do as Aristotle once said, "To be true lovers, is to be two bodies with one soul." Hold her hand whenever you can, be sentimental with your words, used cute/romantic/and funny diction with your wording (not to the point where it's weird and you become a different person, however to the extent to which your not some cold blatant speaker/lover). Cuddle, (put your arm around her). Make her 'one', not your own. Never make here feel like a possession, she is your PARTNER, memorize that, never in your relationship shall one be more superior to the other. Respect her being- hold doors for her, pull out a chair, walk her across the street, walk WITH her, never leaving her alone (being front or back). Look into her eyes alot, and DON'T check out other girls, remember she's your one and only true love, it's her in the room, not the others.

Buy her things (mind you Polish girls aren't materialized), so again be affectionate in buying her things, maybe some jewelry on the anniversary of first meeting or her birthday(remember dates!!!)- oh and never forget her names day (in Poland it is sometimes considered more important than a birthday), buy her flowers (colors of the Polish flag, half red and half white roses). Being that, it's not the price, but the thought that counts. So be creative with what you give her, write her a poem, a short story (maybe in Polish, or Polish style)-buy some Polish literature as reference; you know what I mean, or make her a card.

Agree with her, but don't be a copy cat. For example, practice her religion maybe, her interests, abilities, copings definitely. Engage in her interest with truth, talk about that book shes reading or that movie she saw last week. Also give her personal space, don't be around her all the time or stalk her (she has friends and family too, and a personal life), again you are not more superior, you are partners. Your trust in each other is one of the most important if not most important virtues of your relationship. Also don't be all "manly" and a stuck up *******, girls don't like that, try being sensitive and emotional too (but too much of that, or anything for that matter can cause more bad than it does good.)

There's much more I can think of but don't have the time. If you really want to learn polish or the basics buy Rossetta Stone, it's amazing for language teaching and they have it in Polish. It's a software with simply teaches you the basic Polish language (it's rated #1). If not learn little things, like how to say I love you (Kocham Wie) or Good day (Dobry Dzien), or make a Polish nickname for her such as 'little flower', or 'little angel' (but don't over use it, and try to call her the nickname in Polish).

Anyway, this isn't a list of orders, but rather adaptations or recommendations. Don't take them all too serious or senile, but rather consider them. Remember, true love is a powerful force: any philosopher, great thinker, even some scientists throughout our time can tell you this. I hope for you to achieve metaphysicality, aesthetics, stoicism, and emotion in your relationship--in other words to achieve true love. Best of luck to you, good friend ^_^.

ps. Sorry this essay of mine has typos and bad grammar, I typed it up too fast.

Life / Polish stereotypes of other nationalities!? [472]

DUTCH: the most rude men in the world. Greedy b*stards and only friendly when they want something from you. Women: either dropdead gorgeous or outright hideous. Easy to get in your bed.

See how easy that was?

Love / Polish women are the most beautiful in the world! [1718]

After having lived in Sweden for a year, I have to say your wrong....

And no (to the guy above) Ukranian women aren't better than Polish women. Essentially Ukrainian women are the same as Russian women. Sure they are beautiful; but go figure...

Love / WHAT TRAITS DO POLISH MEN LOOK FOR IN A FEMALE? [32]

Hi Polonius! I see you have reposted this thread again; but rather changing females into males. ^_^

I will have to say that the same apply. Surely it's been psychologically proven that men are a tad bit different than women. However there is no hardcore research/study saying that they are different when it comes to searching for relationships partners. But nonetheless I am interested to hear what some people will have to say. Good luck.

Life / Poles are not racist [873]

Quite a few in Europe. Let's see, there's the Polish, the French, the British, the German, the Italians, the Spanish....

How can you call the French, British, Germans, and Italians homogenized when they have the highest immigration rates in all of Europe? And for quite some time now....

Love / Polish women are the most beautiful in the world! [1718]

Of course german women look better.

Having lived in Greece I find this to be very true. Greek women tend to have many Slavic features. Bluish eyes, blond hair, and pale/white skin. It's only when you go very south to the Greek Islands that you begin to see rather some dark skinned ones. Either way though, why rank them fourth. Also I have been to Sweden the women there are NOT more beautiful that Polish women. Scandinavian well... here is my list.

1. Slavic women
2. Scandinavian
3. Mediterranean
4. Western European

However it's rather hard to differentiate. Slavic is a big word. Polish women look much differnt than Russian women, and COMPLETELY different than Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Lithuanian, etc. women. Also Slavic women can also not be so beautiful; when I went to Romania or Hungary, the women there weren't mostly beautiful like in Poland. Also being in the summer some Romanian and Albanian women have the tendency not to shave their arm pits. :-(

Anyway, Western European is the same. French women, Spanish women, German women are three completely different breeds, they can't be compared. German women and Spanish women would be on the bottom of my list compared to French women. But truth is I have seen beauty and ugly in all of them. If you want the most accurate, it's best to judge beauty by the individual, generalizing always has wrong loopholes.

Also russian girls show upper part of buttocks by wearing low-cut shorts which are very uncommon in Poland.I mean polish esthetics is to show a lot of cleavage, show legs and part of lower part of buttocks while wearing low heels while russian esthetics is to show less breast, upper and lower part of buttocks and legs.

lol how do you know all this. You should publish a statistics book for beauty, lol.

I also agree with what PGTX said, that Polish people think Polish women are the most beautiful in the world, just like Russians think of their own women, Ukrainians of their own, Greeks of their own, Italians of their own French of their own. If you want me to be honest with you, there's more cultural psychology crap supporting these statements, than there is actual reason, facts, and logic. Don't believe me? They have Russian, Ukrainian, French, etc. forums on the internet- go look.

Life / Do you think that Polish people are rude? [951]

Becouse we are humans, the most developed animals.

Eh, I wouldn't say animals. Even Darwin said not to. Owell, point is there's rude people everywhere, but the very truth is after having lived in Poland for over a year, I'd say that the people here were nicer than in any other European country I have been to. Go figure.

Ummm, don't all girls sweat? Also, I have seen many asses on Polish girls ;-) and they sure as hell aren't ugly.

Life / 3 reasons why you hate Poland. [1049]

You can usually pick them out because of their greased back hair and dress, tight pants, especially around the crotch area, and they are constantly chasing the Polish girls around the stare miasto.

as a half Greek and Pole living in Greece, your wrong, please go get an education and stop generalizing by the few. I have seen Polish people with gel in their hair and wearing tight pants, but I don't say that all of them do, do I?

Oh an three things?

Genealogy / Why are some Polish people dark complected, and others very light [511]

Well here, I have bluish eyes, dark hair, but very light skin. Like, very very light. I am Greek but people always do ask me whether I am from somewhere else. People have mistaken me for Finnish, Swedish, Polish, Russian....essentially many of the generalization made upon looks and cultures tend not to hold.

Love / Polish women are the most beautiful in the world! [1718]

I don't get what you mean by it's in the "slavic genetics" that makes it better. I have seen many slavs (most particularly the men) that tend to be not the most beautiful. Personally, there's alot more than just genetics. If you have lived in Poland like I have for 5 years then you'll see that they have all. Beauties, average, not so good looking (or whatever, beauty is in the eye of the beholder). Point is, that there's more to beauty than the genetics, and posters of models (which every country has), and racial generalizations.

News / US to deploy Patriot missiles to Poland [404]

This is still going on? Obama canceled those plans in coercing with Russia upon it. He claims that there's no need for it. Besides, I doubt Bush cared that much about Poland's safety, he just wanted to be "Mr. Big Military Man" and put yet another U.S. base on foreign soil like the so the many useless dozens he already built during his administration.

However indeed, I am all forth for Poland building a nuclear/missile defense system. It's obvious that the Kremlin wants the opportunity to attack Poland if the circumstance comes, and to not feel the lack in potential by having inferior weaponry. As far as the excuse goes that it might be dangerous for Poland to have such defense, it's a defense system, not an attack system. I have studied enough on these systems through the news to know that like anyone with simple commonsense (not at the Kremlin) would know.

History / Poles in the Napoleonic era [224]

Oh I know. A citizen of a republic isn't represented by his government, especially when that government is fallacy. I'm not sure if Russians are all slavic, however there was anti-russian for those whom broke out, and didn't follow the state's doctrine (a doctrine which became ridiculous by the end of the Stalin-era). Millions of Russian's died and rotted in Stalin's gulags, purges, and torturing administered by the State.

Yes, I'm currently reading a book on rhe Russian empire and how they cotnrolled Poland. Both in the classical era and in the post-modern era. It is them who have committed the most historical fallacies against this nation I beleive.

History / Poles in the Napoleonic era [224]

Alexander the Great wasn't a homosexual. Alexander married two women: Roxana, daughter of a Bactrian nobleman, Oxyartes; and Stateira, a Persian princess and daughter of Darius III of Persia. There is also an accepted tradition of a third wife – Parysatis – whom he is supposed to have married in Persia, though nothing else is known about her. Another personage from the court of Darius III with whom he was intimate was the male eunuch Bagoas. His son by Roxana, Alexander IV of Macedon, was killed after the death of his father, before he reached adulthood.

As for him, he never did anything to the slavic's. His operation were based in Africa, Persia, and India...
