News / Abortion still under control in Poland [2502]

They do teach about human reproduction, cells, embrios, fetus, development. I'm not talking about teaching morals because everybody should figure it out themselves.

"If I had been properly informed beforehand, I wouldn't have done it

that's what biology at schoold is for, and i'm sure they teach about that. beside, before you do such thing, educate yourself on your own, right? we live in the era of information, you know.

News / Poland's Ruch Narodowy - should it be banned? [62]

The vote should be given to those who earn their position in society through merit.

That's not how modern democracy works. We don't live in the time of ancient Greeks.
BTW, you must think very highly about yourself to make such statements.

News / Abortion still under control in Poland [2502]

People don't know how the morning after pill really works. It is not a form of abortion.

And yes, a woman should have a choice.

Should abortion be threated as a contraceptive? Absolutaly no.

I am pro choice but it is not up to me to decide for others.

Late term abortion... Hmm.. I don't think many woman would decide to do it anyway. Man will never understand how womans body changes at that time and also the attachement to the growing belly. And those crazy horomones :)! Sorry guys, but you have no idea yet so opinionated you are.

Beside how late? Because it can be considered early delivery and a premee.

Po polsku / Życie pod wspólnym dachem. Jak to jest? [18]

Zdecydowanie doradzam mieszkanie razem przed slubem.

Ja mialam swoja kase, on mial swoja kase i mielismy tez wspolna kase do ktorej kazdy rowno sie dokladal.

I wzajemny szacunek musi byc. :)

Love / Polish mother, possible UK father - child law Poland. [35]

Yeah, advice. Man up and quit bs excuses. Don't have sex if you don't want kids yet.
And now go and take care of your soon to be born baby. She can say what she wants, you must do what is right.

Travel / Which countries (of the world) is a Polish drivers licence valid? [15]

As for the USA, I wouldn't waste money to get an international DL. Your Polish DL and a passport with visa will do.
Although, my international driver licence helped me not to get a ticket back in the days. The police officer was very confused about how to deal with that little book and he let me go with a warrning.

Food / Anyone fancy Polish pieróg lubelski? [12]

Polonius
Yes, it was kind of like kulebiak. I know that because my grandma makes it.
I was only wondering if anybody else shares my long time sentiment.

Harry
It was from the old school days if you know what i mean :)

Food / Anyone fancy Polish pieróg lubelski? [12]

It reminds me of a pieróg which you could only buy on ul. Szewska in Krakow. That was when I was a kid, the place doesn't exist anymore.

It was different than pieróg lubelski, I guess, wrapped in dough cabbage and muchrooms. It was long for a half meter. And delicious.
I always was buying it on my way to the rynek

Maybe somebody remembers? Krakusy? Or it is totally forgotten? :(

News / Kudos to RCC for turning Poland into a laughingstock... again. [38]

It's all to take the attention from their own rotten mess.
Yet again priests tell people what they CANNOT do. That's all they do. So what can we actually do?
Soon, they will tell us that we cannot wipe our asses because it's touching our privates parts.
Let people live their lives.

4eigner... Insurance you pay doesn't depend on your income. Maybe if it's too much or too low. It depend on your gender, age and if you're single or pay also for your family. You pay $400 if you're single, most likely. Women always pay higher insurance and older people. And if you're adding your wife and a kid to your insurance, it get to $1000/ month and up.

No it is not cheap. It wasn't even cheap for my boss who makes $200 k/year.
You pay it every month and still dedictable applies.

Yes, middle class hurts and it sucks. It slowly disapears. We will see more poor and rich people.
