Very well said, profits for fat politicians in Washington, migraines for Poland. What did we get out of our involvement in the Iraq War, nothing, they promised us deals, contracts worth large amounts of money, all we got was dead soldiers and Muslims to hate us. I know there are 3 million Turks in Germany who came as Gastarbeiters in the 1950's, i've heard that originally Germany wanted the workers to be Polish except Russians pressured us not to go and work in Germany because just a few years before WW2 happened and many tragic things, so it was decided otherwise, is this true??

What i don't understand is why are so many young Lemkos or Ukrainians who were born in Poland or live there anti-Polish? i know all about Akcja Wisła i know Poland conquered Ukraine and colonized tried forcing Roman Catholicism and Polish language on the people, but what UPA and OUN did went way beyond that, killing tens of thousands of men women and children. Poland oppressed them but wasn't murdering thousands of people for nothing except for a few volunteers in the Wehrmacht. Both nations did bad things to each other it's all in the past. Why can't young Lemkos and Ukrainians get over it understand their people did bad things also, i'm sure they're not being discriminated against in present day Poland.

I love it how they're building everywhere in Poland the country sure is changing, Warsaw is becoming a nice looking city. Motorways, stadiums, skyscrapers, alot is changing. I remember when i still lived in Poland just after communism fell, old, gray, ugly buildings, very bad roads, pollution. Even the city i lived in Stalowa Wola which is a boom town (huge sleet mill), it was to Poland what Pittsburgh is to Pennsylvania, has changed alot about half the city looks different.

No it was over a city ( Danzig) railway line and highway, in the first phase, until the start of the war, in the second phase Germany wanted the whole Polish Corridor and northern Poland down to about where Bydgoszcz is, in return for that half of Ukraine and western Belarus were to be given to Poland. That was enough for Germany's Lebensraum, the eastern half of Ukraine and Russia up to the Ural was to be exploited for its natural resources, Ukraine and Russia were to feed the Thousand Year Reich, nothing more.

hahahaha you helped me in making my point, PLANS is what i was talking about his original pre-war plans, not what later actually happened during the war. You don't need to tell me stories about what happened during the war, my one great grandfather Mikolaj Turczyn was a resistance leader he had 50 men under his command, 5 villages including his in Lublin Voivodeship, Borow, Chwalowice and 3 more where burned down 1,400 everyone men, women, children where murdered, only one family survived they live in Gdansk now.

He didn't stay in the village he lived in, any man suspected of being in the resistance would have been shot or sent to a concentration camp, it wasn't just him from his village that went and joined the resistance it was many men, so the Germans were very suspicious. They lived in a forest and at the time weren't nearby to know what happened, that act by the Germans was actually a retaliation for what partisans did to the Germans in that whole area, assassinating German soldiers, derailing trains.

Well there's trash in every country, i'm ashamed to hear some Polish people do this. My Polish friend who live at the New Jersey shore said, alot of the Poles that come for summer jobs on the boardwalk in Atlantic City, Wildwood, Ocean City, Seaside Heights and elsewhere steal, walk around at night after work throw spark plugs or something else to break a window and steal GPSes, car radios, or go into a convenient store and take food, like while making hot dogs putting 3 in a bun and paying for one. They don't care because when summer's over they're going back home, us the Poles who have to live here get weird looks and the locals hating us because of euro trash like that. I actually would prefer if none of them came over for summer work anymore.
