USA, Canada / Traveling from US to Poland with maiden name in my passport and renewing it there [16]

OK.. so I know now for a fact that I will not be able to board the plane with ticket in my married name and passport in my maiden name... so I guess I could just get a ticket with my maiden name to match my passport, right? they will not need any other id when I get on the plane here in US. on the way back I could have a ticket in my married name so it would match my new passport I'll get and my green card.. it seems like a lot to go through but it would save me a lot of $$ to do it that way.. if I even can book ticket with different name each way.. ehh.. any thoughts on that??

USA, Canada / Traveling from US to Poland with maiden name in my passport and renewing it there [16]

I am going to Poland in August. My passport is valid till 2011 but it's with my maiden name. to change it here in US it's a pain.. i have to apply in person in Consulate in LA and then pick it up, pay over $100... just a headache. so I guess I can get my new passport with my married name while I'm visiting in Poland. It's only $25 and I already placed my marriage certificate in the Urzad Stanu Cywilnego. I have my PESEL and am still registered at my parents place.. so I know for sure I can apply and get it there.

the only problem I have is will I be able to leave the country with my married name passport and a marriage certificate in hand. do I buy my ticket in my married name? does anyone know how that works?

thanks!
