Work / Advice on Teaching English in Poland [709]

Do you have to have a university degree to teach English in Poland? What if you are currently studying but you have some sort of TESOL/TEFL/TESL certification?

Cool, thanks VaFunkoolo. Any specific advise for would-be english teachers without college/university diplomas would be welcome.

Work / Advice on Teaching English in Poland [709]

When does the academic year start in Poland? I think I'm going to try a two-pronged approach:

1. Apply to various language schools et al
2. Advertise as a private tutor for individual tutoring, group tutoring, conversation, etc.

USA, Canada / Ottawa Poles [3]

Any Poles here from Ottawa? Ottawa has a fairly active Polonia (although I'm not part of it), there's even a "Polish House" where Polish cultural events are held. There are several Polish delis (only place I buy my bread).

Anyways, I'd be curious to know if there are any Poles here from Ottawa. If there are we can have a discussion about Poland and Ottawa and then we should get beer :)
