Life / Polish people and racism. [943]

hey David18

i found your post really interesting, as what your written is something i'm struggling with my Polish mum at the moment, as its so frustrating. What you have described, about your family in Poland saying you cant bring your African friend due to his skin color, is that family an exception in thinking or the general norm? I mean do many people think like that in Poland or is it just a minority?

I give u an example about my mum, she thought that here in Australia, our South African neighbours (who are not white) would agree to some things we wanted to request them, and mum said, they will agree because we are white and they are coming from a country where white people where once seen as superior and basically they will want to please "us" whites. I felt ill with this thinking (she is from older generation). Turns out, they are very wealthy people, mum got a shock and when realized they are like way above social status then us lol, she toned down her thinking and went all humble, especially as they didnt readily agree to our request and looking at them, didnt give a toss whether we are white, purple or pink lol. I was glad they acted the way they did (they were very very nice but not what mum thought they would be) to least show mum, hey your thinking isnt right!

why on earth did you have to bring Islam in this, when the topic was something completly different. Again, typical arrogant posters have to blame Islam for racism in Poland? The topic was Polish People and Racism. I strongly object to the slander about Islam in this forum. God will judge you.

Love / Is Indian/Polish relationship possible? [370]

i am pakistani i had 3 polish girl friends in 5 years but its true theh can not be a good house wifes.

how wrong you are! I am Polish women married to a Pakistani man (bf gf relations are haram for us). The Polish women in my family and those that i know off have the highest cleaning standards around. They cook meals and really look after their husbands and family well. The modern new generation may be somewhat different that they are often working and bringing in extra income to the family as life can be tough these days.

thank God i have a husband that shares in the cleaning responsibities and loves cooking dinner for us. He believes that cleaning is not womens only responsiblity! We work as a team and both are "good house wife" and "house husband"
