Call from Urzad Wojewódzki (Citizenship Application) while being out of Poland

Hey guys, i just received a call from urzad Wojewodzki after two months of applying for Polish Citizenship, i was asked to come to their office today but am abroad so i will be going in two days, just wondering if any foreigner have this experience and what likely could it be.

Go when you are in Poland. They could be asking for further documents or simply to give you a decision.

I hope it is a positive decision :) my thinking if it is gonna be a negative, they will just send it by post

It may vary from region to region, but in my experience they send a positive decision by post, and then you have to collect your documentation and Dowód Osobisty in person and sign for it.

Congrats the mere fact that the pl citizenship office called back is good news. You'll most likely be asked to bring paperwork and government docs. Usually citizenship conferments tend to be just a formality. You'll go in front of a sort of judge most likely hell ask a few questions n that's it. In the us they even have a lil party at the end. No, it's not like that at all.

Definitely it is not like that, well, i will go there whenever i'll be in Poland, and give update here.

You will NOT go in front of a judge. You will be handed the documentation (no matter what the decision is) in person, as you have to sign for their collection. It is not just a formality - they have to have all the documents they need before reaching a decision.

You have to apply for ID (Dowod) totally separately and they get in touch with you separately.
I wish people who have no idea about a matter did not confuse anyone with their answers.
