Millennials even worse than baby-boomers?

Harry

You are British aren't you

I've got other passports to choose from, so I have no fear of deportation, unlike American baby-boomers with a past they desperately don't want this millennium to find out about.

a Polish citizen will have to accept Christ as his king!

Perhaps you'd care to have a look at the Polish constitution some time.

the Polish constitution some time

Doesnt take away the fact that Christ has been installed as the king of Poland and as such you should show some respect to the willl of the people and your new king.

"I've got other passports to choose from,"

So you are saying you have plenty of bolt holes to run to at the first sign of trouble.

The old story, I cant serve my country because I have no idea which passport to choose, you should get them combined into one that says Libtardland.

Liblanders much worse than Boomers and Millennials put together.

baby-boomers

You are so permeated with falsehoods that you wouldn't know hte truth if you tripped over it. A baby-boomer was born AFTER WW2, specifically in or after 1946. Another classic lie to add to your 4 sixpacks a day allegation. HB, you are utterly hopeless!

Also, this act of enthronement reveals that Poland secretly or subconsciously cherishes the wish to re-introduce monarchy. I have always said that France and Russia are hidden monarchies whereas the UK contrary to its name is a (hidden) republic. The monarchy serves the UK as a practical device for avoiding an election of the president, who will be a much more controversial figure, as well as is an important factor for the tourist industry. In Poland a monarch is desired as a symbol of the past and the glory and also as a symbol of creating a state out of nothing as its first ruler Mieszko I seems to be a political genius judging from today's perspective. On top of that, our monarchy was abruptly and ruthlessly stopped by foreign powers which fact destroyed the continous tradition lasting more than 800 years.

The monarch in Poland was never so strong as a monarch in France. In Poland monarchs were controlled by variuos circles of influential groups and forced to sign the pacta conventa that restricted them in many ways from the very beginning of their reign. Thus, a symbolic figure in the position of a king would be better than a real one. And a spiritual figure such as Christ would possibly be the best candidate one could have ever dreamed of.

Thus, enthroning Christ as King of Poland may be seen as a sign of various psychological, historical and - last, but not the least - religious needs of the nation.

We were attending a football game and sat next to a very self important college freshman.
He took it upon himself to explain to us senior citizens sitting next to him why it was impossible for the older generation to understand his generation.

He spouted........"You grew up in a different world, actually an almost primitive one.
The young people of today grew up with television, jet planes, space travel, man walking on the moon, our spaceships have visited Mars.
We have nuclear energy, electric and hydrogen cars, computers with light-speed processing, and ... ," pausing to take another drink of beer.
I took advantage of the break and said, "You're right, son.
We didn't have those things when we were young ... so we invented them.
Now, you arrogant little *******, what are you doing for the next generation ?"

'The children now love luxury; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are tyrants, not servants of the households.

They no longer rise when their elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize over their teachers.'

The will of the people???
LOLZ

Holy f!ckin sh!tballs!, Did I miss a referendum where we were asked if some dead Jewish dude could be made king of a country that didn't even exist when he was alive?

Plus the fact that his mother is Queen, like, that doesn't work....although if you belive in the nonsense idea of the trinity then I suppose Jesus is God and the holy ghost so he doesn't have to feel guilty that he made his own mother pregnant and f!cked over his adopted father Joe

the nonsense idea of the trinity

I don't think the Trinity is nonsense. It's just a simple way of representing the concept of a multi-faceted being who combines power (God the Creator)with wisdom and justice (the Holy Spirit) and love and mercy (God the Son). Powerful, wise, just, loving and merciful, not a bad old combination :)

Come on Ireland........back on topic.

Over protected "helicopter" moms, Liberal Progressive Thinking, to many laws, everyone is a winner (and gets a "participation" trophy), no spankings, not being taught "Responsibility" or "Accountability" (isn't my fault, it's the neighbors, school teachers, policeman's, employers fault), as they live in their parents basement and expect someone else to pay for their college.

They could not survive without government subsides, processed food, cell phones, electricity, their security blanket and the stupid laws that enable them.
Hey Crow, are the millennials in Russia pampered to the point of being useless prissy too or is Liberalism outlawed there ?

Millenials in Russia are tough people, it seems to me. A Russian lady (later married a Pole) once told me that her family in Moscow had to rely on the stuff they grew on their small farm in Siberia during the Yeltsin era when food supply was really scarce. So Russian millenials can hardly be compared to those born in the so-called 'rotten West'.

A Libtard would cry that a action like that just promotes anger, hate and will destroy a child's self esteem.
A person with a brain at all would say, "Good job", the teacher did what the parent should have done when the kid was about three years old.

Consequently because the parent didn't........society is now burdened with these crop failures.

Sadly the teacher probably lost his job as a result, the only harm done was to the ego of the miscreant student, who would be teased by his fellow stdents for being girly slapped on the cheek , the fact is that the student will probably think twice before trying this trick again.

Holy f!ckin sh!tballs!... some dead Jewish dude

If you are out of the reach of Polish jurisprudence, you'd better stay there for your own good. §196 of the Polish Penal Code makes the publicly offending people's religious sensibilities an offence piunishable by up to two years in prison. The Polish authorities would probably not request extradition of such a scumbag!

§196 of the Polish Penal Code makes the publicly offending people's religious sensibilities an offence piunishable by up to two years in prison.

Saying that Jesus was Jewish is not offending any religious sensibilities and is 100% true.
Saying that Jesus was a dude is not offending any religious sensibilities and is 100% true.
Saying that Jesus is dead (in the conventional understanding of the word, i.e. not breathing any more) is not offending any religious sensibilities and is 100% true.

The Polish authorities would probably not request extradition of such a scumbag!

Luckily the Polish authorities wouldn't need to request extradition of a certain person who says that Jews are "devious b*stards" and thus offends religious sensibilities: he's right here in Poland. And once they've arrested him for that crime, they might also notice his extensive list of past form.

Millennials are doing their bit these days it appears they have sorted out the greek Economic crisis.

If you look really hard you will spot one or two Michelin starred PFers relaxing betwwen posts.

Sun, sea and... showing off: Flash cars, yachts, luxury handbags and extremely pampered pooches all go on display as the Rich Kids of Greece flaunt their wealth

Oh, give me a break. Baby Boomers were considered the biggest losers ever by their own parents. Lazy stoners with long hair protesting against the Vietnam War and listening to weird music ... remember? They got shot or beaten up by the cops and put in jail by bigots like Reagan in CA - exactly the same treatment that our young people will receive as soon as Trump takes office. Every new generation is considered strange and weak by the previous one. That's life.

Rolex watches? Who the hell wears a Rolex. And Moet? Really?!
Still, no surprise to see one of PF's favourite baby-boomers spends his days reading the Daily Heil.

Who the hell wears a Rolex. And Moet? Really?

People like you Harry who boasts about going around Warsaw dining at the finest Michelin resaurants and Quaffing only the best alcohol available, you are always boasting about your Polish earnings, at least you were able to take a little time out of PF to visit rehab, sadly it appears to have failed.

I am pretty sure, and many here would agree that you behave like a spoiled Libtard Millennial brat as per the article in the " Daily Heil"

People like you Harry

Don't be silly, there are much better watches for the money a Rolex will set you back, and people won't assume that those ones are fakes, which is what people here assume when they see a Rolex.

dining at the finest Michelin resaurants

It's impossible for anybody to dine at the finest Michelin resaurant in Poland. I'll leave it for you to work out why. Personally I prefer the best non-Michelin starred restaurant in Poland (according to Gault & Millau), the food there is much more to my and frankly the value is far better, the tasting menu with wine there sets me back about 600zl, as compared to over 1,200zl at Michelin starred places here.

a spoiled Libtard Millennial brat

I do wish you and your fellow baby-boomers (such as Po+o) could learn which eras the terms apply to.

You obviously know your bling, I have a 30 year old Timex.

You dine at 600 zl a time !!! I think that kind of proves my point.

You dine at 600 zl a time !!!

300zl per person for a six-course tasting menu and a six-glass wine pairing. And it's not like I eat there every week.
And I don't have any bling at all.

300zl per person for a six-course tasting menu and a six-glass wine pairing.

I took two pallets of cat food to the vet today for them to give to an old lady that i'd overheard say that she can no longer afford to feed her cats, I will keep dropping food off every couple of months, there are better ways of spending 300zl.

I am happy being a boomer, I was really happy leaving the vets today, an expensive restuarant could never compete.

Will you make sure to keep coming here and boasting about your good deeds? I know you baby-boomers so like to keep people up to date about all of the wonderful things they do; my generation prefers to get on and do things, rather than boasting about them.

Anybody who doubts that baby-boomers (particularly those who refused to serve their country when called upon to do so) are the most pathetic generation of all can simply note the way a poster revived a thread which had been dead for more than a year just so he could quote himself.

Both boomers and millenials share similar traits and are repugnant in totally different ways. Boomers, those born between '45-'59, frequently expect stuff to be handed to them by a welcoming social services-style Federal Government from the late, lamented New Deal Era, i.e. let the freebies reign supreme forever! Guess what? The spigot's gonna get turned off, sooner rather than later. This leads me to the latter, namely, the millenials! The latter, as opposed to the former, have given up on the '68'ers ideology of taking big gov't to task for social injusticel. The reasons??! The millenials wouldn't know a civil right from a civil wrong, 'cuz they are the offspring of the boomers, or post-boomers, whose folks were often nothing more than bunch of whining, red-diaper dope babies, uncritically schooled in the greatness of Communism.

Neither group holds a candle in my mind to the Greatest Generation. If only the Greatest Generation hadn't fallen asleep at the switch and kept more of an eye on their boomer children, this country would have been far better off.
