While in the Old Town, I found time to enjoy my fav activity - observing people

Your observing is fine, but those photos break Polish law.

Of course not. :):) I always ask photographed people if I can use their images, most agree. The problem is that it isn`t written , only spoken, as I don`t have time to deal with paper work. So it may happen one day that somebody will withdraw the agreement.

but those photos break Polish law.

my understanding is that if folk take up more than 30% of the frame then there may be problems.
other than that i know nothing.

Planty is a large park which encircles the Old Town, created after pulling down medieval fortifications.

Funny but the Old Town hosts more than one square. I counted six.

s

One of them, Szczepański Square.

  • Old Theatre

There is a very popular fountain. Last year municipal guards were kicking bathing kids out due to hygenic reasons, this year I see they gave up.

  • I always thought that was a communist structure

  • No, they built it before the war.

But each tower`s location is marked with a plaque. Funny.

I do not think those photos break the law as they were taken in a public place, not sure about polish law specifically ofc.,
but I had reason to check the legal aspect of this myself recently.

Shyt, what a scorcher! Yesterday we went to the lake near Krakow and the sand was so hot it virtually burnt our feet, I had to wear sandals. I don`t remember such a heat wave. Water was about 29 degrees.

When not on holidays, we go to the lake once a week. Never at the wekend because crystal clear water gets a bit cloudy when there are too many people. Family ticket costs 30 zlotys and you can have fun all day.

Hi. We are spending a week in southern Poland`s region of Gorlice as usual but I came back home for a while because one of our cats got sick and I had to take him to a vet. I didn`t know there are so many night vets in Krakow.

The weather is perfect, not too hot nor cool, but the main problem is the complete lack of mushrooms in forests - so far I have found one noble mushroom which is already dried - it smells delicious so I am thinking of making soup of it.

And I have also seen 3 poisonous mushrooms. Catastrophical drought!
Tomorrow we are going to Krynica Zdrój to get some mineral water treatment for all our stresses.

Of course that was a joke, sorry, f stop and rozumiemnic, you probably thought I was serious.

Veni, vidi, vici. Krynica hasn`t changed much since our last visit, but they are thouroughly modernising the main mineral water drinkink hall.
