Should Poland traitors face the death penalty?

Oh all those KOD's PO and all the total opposition played its part all right, If the opposition would as they should stand on the ground of solving domical debates without inference of outsiders, the EU wouldn't dare to go that far!

Yet those three scummy people dared to vote directly against their own country, a country that pays them their salaries that is a treason and they're traitors and there is no excuse for what they did. The only question remains what punishment should be apply to them!

Or perhaps she voted according to her party. Do politicians usually vote according to the wishes of opposing parties? Did PiS and LPR extremist MEPs do that when they were in opposition?

This is different because they are harming all politicians and all polish citizens by taking away pls voting rights - including those that voted for p.o.. this will really come to bite p.o. in the butt much like the whole bringing in 4k.migrants did. Poles simply don't trust p.o. at all anymore. They have less than half of the support of pis. The fact is the majority of poles support right wing pis and kukiz which together have over 50% support

That leaves a pretty big chunk who don't support them.

You forgot that this party was democratically elected by the majority of poles. The majority of poles are also firmly against this stunt that the po losers created. Thankfully, it didn't work.

You forget that the 'them' you refer to democratically elected PiS due to their campaign promises. Hence, the PO MEPs are voting against the wishes of the majority of Poles. This is simply desperation on their part. They are down to 20% support and are going to lose even more after this. They have barely any support at home in Poland and they know it - that's why they ally with EU and Germans because otherwise they'd have no one. The EU and Germans are just using them though.

And democracy, Adrian, involves different political parties voting different ways. Perhaps you'd prefer a one-party state...

Even if those wishes are against the majority of the citizens? Even if Poles are overwhelmingly against such a vote that would cancel Poland's voting rights? This not only hurts PiS supporters but ALL POLES - that's what you fail to understand.

It's a parliamentary democracy, not a fascist plebiscite system, so yes, people elect politicians to vote with their conscience. Not the mob.

They have hardly any support (20% - less than HALF of PiS) from local Poles so instead they have to rely on Germans and the EU to get their way

I did not watch much TV but as I am aware most news/debates - (Mr Lis was a master) very much reminded PRL z 'przewodnia rola parti ( swap PZPR to PO) ktora zawsze ma racje'

Those are the people making the comparison, the ones with the clearest memories of the PRL are the ones who recognize the same MO from the current government.

Not the majority of the posters here that's for sure, especially the LBH crowd as they just recently entered Poland and no nothing about PRL. There's maybe 1 or 2 posters here that actually experienced PRL themselves.

But the older Poles yes, they know about PRL. However, there's far more in the PiS camp than PO.

Ukrainians have developed some wonderful methods for punishing traitors and interrogating people during the war. They often involve construction binding foam and ram rods from AK47s = )
