the most successful countries all have presidential systems is also irrelevant.

Japan : Monarchy
UK : Monarchy
Australia : Monarchy
Canada : Monarchy
Sweden : Monarchy
Denmark : Monarchy
Netherlands : Monarchy

Shall I continue?

Let's not forget that many Presidential systems are monarchies in all but name.

Mugabe's Zimbabwe is an excellent example, and one of many.

Why it's irrelevant.
Tell me why children should be treated differently that's very relevant. Tell me why it's ok to call some who benefit from the state "dole scum" while other claimants are elevated to mythical status. Then tell me why it's OK for an unelected person to directly interfere in political matters.

If that is the system you like grand just don't call it democratic.

Some people actually honor unelected kings and queens who live luxuriously off the state? Why?

I was actually referring to the fact that the next Queen of the Belgians is half Polish, nothing more :)

If you would have read a few of my earlier postings, you would know that I wrote the OP out of a Belgian point of view, where in our divided country a constitutional monarchy is the best option.

Anyway, our King does not have any crown jewels, and with the last coronation there was a frantic search for the throne, which is is used once with the coronation and was finally found in the attic of the parliament :)

Who knows? I just read an article that she might be put forward as a candidate for President next year. A very good alternative for this puppet Duda.

The last Polish king was deposed in 1795. Returning after 224 years? :):)

Why not? When the UK falls apart after Brexit, England and Wales will be too small to accomodate the whole Family so Poland might invite one of British royals to come and reign here.

Australia : Monarchy
Canada : Monarchy

These are some bizarre monarchies because the king is far away.
