No Poles Allowed! - Latest Polonophobic Outrage Out of Britain

OP Bieganski 17 | 890

why should someone apologize for what some other people are/were doing - I don't see a point

There are numerous threads on PF with the common theme of "collective guilt and responsibility" as in what they falsely claim Poles owe to others such as Jews, economic migrants clamoring to enter the EU, etc.

And of course the biggest advocates of "collective guilt and responsibility" (i.e., Harry, Delphia, Doug, the gay Turkish whirling dervish, etc.) also engage in mental gymnastics whereby when this collective guilt tripping comes around to applying to them then all of a sudden they want everyone to see them as atomized individuals with absolutely nothing to do whatsoever with the jingoism and xenophobia of their kith and kin back in Blighty or their literal genetic cousins over in America.

In the case of this thread the British do need to take ownership of what is going on back in their homeland and exert peer pressure on their compatriots. They can do this by announcing how they have written to their MPs to have this offense Polonophobic sign torn down. They can announce how they have donated to the crowdfunding effort to help the Polish father in Britain sue to have the offense Polonophobic sign removed.

At the very least they need to stand up and say they are ashamed to be British for what their countrymen are doing to Poles and acknowledge that it is not an aberration but a Stage 4 social cancer which needs to be confronted and eradicated.

what they falsely claim Poles owe to others such as Jews

Care to quote me saying anything like that? Or is that claim as false just as the claim in your title of this thread is, give that the disgraceful sign did not say "No Poles Allowed!"?

They can do this by announcing how they have written to their MPs to have this offense Polonophobic sign torn down. They can announce how they have donated to the crowdfunding effort

I'll happily do both of those things, just as soon as you publicly apologise for the actions of your countrymen in stealing the USA from the indigenous people it belonged to and you post confirmation that you've transferred your property to those people. Do let me know when I need to do those things.

they are ashamed to be British for what their countrymen are doing to Poles

If one were to feel ashamed to be British for something as petty as a sign, one would long ago have committed suicide due to shame. How much shame do you feel to be from a nation which committed genocide and ethnic cleansing to steal the land which you now call your own?

you must be able to do that seeing as you claim that nothing justifies using the term countless for the crimes committed by Poles in the UK.

the numbers are not readily available sorry - you can do the research on your own if you are this interested - after all you are a native English speaker unlike myself

Care to quote me saying anything like that?

Look Harold (flouting PF rules by using two user IDs), you started an entire thread about it only seven months ago:

After 77 years, Krakow school does the right thing

American news story:A school in Poland unveiled a plaque Tuesday that commemorates 87 Jewish girls who were expelled in 1939 during the Nazi occupation of the country.

Zionist Harry's collective guilty and responsibility jab at Poles:

Good to see the school doing the right thing, but why on earth has it taken them 77 years to do that?!...I'm wondering why I haven't seen any Stolpersteine in Warsaw yet. Does anybody know why that is?

Now, back to the topic of this thread, where is your personal public atonement for the torrent of hate crimes being committed by your fellow Brits against Poles back in the UK?

No one is interested in your mental gymnastics.

Only your apology and what you are doing to make things right is required.

just as soon as you publicly apologise for the actions of your countrymen in stealing the USA from the indigenous people it belonged to and you post confirmation that you've transferred your property to those people.

Why don`t you make a public apology for all the atrocities that the British have committed first, or do you have historical amnesia?

independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/worst-atrocities-british-empire-amritsar-boer-war-concentration-camp-mau-mau-a7612176.html

Shouldn't you apologize for your once thriving British slave trade business then?

It's not racist at all.

Well of course not, just xenophobic, prejudiced and stupid.
In what way was he going to enforce this little absurdly worded announcement? If they have means to enforce it, they could have made sure no one 'steal' from them (or whoever is their issue() without putting a provocative sign like that.

If all that is not some fake news, provocation or a politically motivated statement it is a testimony of the workings of an extremely limited mind. Those kind of things are clearly against the law, 'they/he/she' ought to know that, plus it hardly offers any solution to the alleged problem.

If people would act in this hurly-burly I don't give a damn about anything state of mind. Some might have taken offence and just burn the whole thingy down.

One last thing if he would word it Eastern Europeans I couldn't care less, I wouldn't even post here.

Yes yes,

Spot on D.

How quaint that you think all Poles who have

Listen douche, who cares? What you are even on about? A Straw man argument again? Where he said that all Brits are ......? On the other hand you seems to have an issue with the Polish people all the time.

Aaaaaah, now I get it! When I agree with Ironside that a sign saying "No Polish or Eastern Bloc fishermen allowed" is xenophobic, prejudiced and stupid, that makes me automatically xenophobic, prejudiced and stupid in your eyes. Interesting concept. Are you blonde or drunk?

@Taxpaying voter

Still far more muslims that rape pillage murder than poles or any native christian europeans.

You clearly need to read a history book. Of course the british never participated in the slave trade, never had colonies (you realize america arose from a british colony - the brits stold the land from native americans, settlers came, and revolted against the puny brits. The brits however along with later the french and spanish were the first to conquer the new world and colonize it - not americans. America like brazil peru or canada are countries that grew out of these colonies), and never fought 2 wars so they could keep trafficking opium into china against the chinese emperors wishes as a quarter of chinese were addicts... right thr brits never did anything wrong

Poles however never participated in such things. We therefore owe nothing to no one. 3/4 of poles reject migrants from me ans africa and over half reject callung a gay union a marraige which is a sacred union between man and woman. Thats how poland was, is and will be for thr forseeable future

Have you really never of the countless murders, attempted murders, rapes, beating, etc carried out by Poles in the UK?

Harold, that's ridiculous even by your standards. The crimes of Poles in the UK can be counted, there are statistics on that, and only a moron would claim that Poles somehow "get away" with crime more often than other ethnic groups. So If you take a look at these statistics, the numbers are significant but per 1000 people they are very often lower than those of natives or other immigrant groups. Besides, the crimes of Poles in the UK in 99,99% cases are motivated by greed and other "usual" reasons, not by any hate of British people...

Many English on the other hand clearly have unhealthy obsession with Poles. Even one of your fellow "PF expats" recently admitted that but he tried to somehow explain that saying it's because the "huge number" of Poles in the UK. The thing is the number of Ukrainians in PL or Poles in IE is per capita bigger than Poles in the UK and you don't really see similar reactions. So much for "there are idiots everywhere" line. Or let's put it that way, while idiots across the world tend to blame their fails on Jews, "banksters" and what's not, the English idiots very often blame it on Poles. And that's quite telling.

When will this deplorable hatred by the British against Poles end?

I'm sure you will be devasted to hear that the illegal sign has been taken down.

So your faux poncing outrage will have to find another outlet for its flouncing.

I'm sure you will be devasted to hear that the illegal sign has been taken down.

I'm overjoyed actually. It's mission accomplished!

You're the Anglocentric carpetbagger who is devastated that your fellow Brit's Polonophobia couldn't withstand public indignation and the prompt backlash from the Polish community.

It was absolutely right and proper for Rado Papiewski to take the lead in confronting this overt and unjustified hatred in his midsts. He and the entire Polish community prevailed.

And I'm very proud to say that I did my part in drawing attention to this latest recurrence of Polonophobia. Note well that the report of the offensive Polonophobic sign being removed came five days after I started this thread. It should never have gone up in the first place.

And thanks for including the BBC news link in your post because the accompanying video report showed that your fellow British Polonophobes put up a similar "No Poles Allowed!" sign way back in 2009. So this proves that anti-Polish sentiment in this particular area of Blighty has been simmering (and twice boiling over) for nearly decade.

Similar discriminatory signage went up in Poland during the Nazi occupation of 1939:

And we all know that plenty of Brits (at every level of society including your establishment) openly and tacitly sided with the Nazis (and Soviets) before, during and well after the war.

Ultimately what this latest sickening incident proved is that the accounts of Poles being discriminated against in prior generations by non-Poles like yourself has unfortunately been very real and sustained right through to the 21st century.

Polonophobia is never justified and acts of it can never be ignored.

Akin to the outbreak of a fire it must be confronted and extinguished immediately.

Just back to the original topic about the 'polonophobic' sign, I can see the reasoning behind it. Polish people were draining the lake of all the fish while Brits were fishing for sport and throwing them back in.

Similar measures were introduced in Poland. In Krakow for example, some bars were not allowing in any Brits for some time [I don't know if it is still the case] because they would get drunk, start fights and smash the place up.

About the no Polish sign - I think they could have done it more tactfully. It was too reminiscent of the no black, no dogs, no Irish style signs in Britain a while back, which was clearly racist. So perhaps a sign explaining that fish must be put back, i.e. only catch and release fishing is allowed.

28 Dec 2017 #110
I can see the reasoning behind it.

The point is there is no reasoning behind it. If there was some issue that could have been handled in a number of ways. The chosen method has been the most obnoxious, bull headed and clearly counterproductive .

Clearly that dude has his head so deep in his own backside that he can check his dental status.

Polish people were draining the lake of all the fish while Brits were fishing for sport and throwing them back in.

They did the same exact thing to this lake in the Chicago suburbs, they fished it all out! There were dozens and dozens of Poles at all hours of the day, even when the park was closed. You couldn't go there and enjoy the park because of the influx of foreigners fishing all the time. And the mess they left behind was horrible!

I actually seen guys running across the street at night with fishing poles. Finally, the police stepped in and started patrolling and checking for fishing licenses.

Thats another thing, these immigrants come to our county and never obey our laws like buying a $30 per year fishing license to help replenish the lake.

I laugh when they play stupid and act like they never heard of a fishing license, cops bust them , maybe some get deported too coz they're all gone now:)

And they don't even use deodorants!!!
Can you imagine the smell after they have fished ... all the fish !!!!!

Smells like a Xmas carp in your bathtub....lol
kaprys 3 | 2,249

What makes you think I have a bathtub or a bathroom? After all, I'm Polish!
But strangely enough, I do have a bathroom - how cool is that?!! Don't worry, I'm sure your wife's family will get one too soon :))))

(Polish wife and visiting Poland - yeah, right ... try convincing me you know anything about Poland- so far all I read from you is nothing but silly old fashioned stereotypes)

Unfortunately, no carp there under my shower ...
A fishing rod is probably the most important attire of a Polish immigrant so that we could fish all the fish! !!)

Better karp (best when fried) than greasy garlic on bed sheets, on fridge doors, garlic smell dragging along the streets of Jewish diaspora, garlic in the bathroom, in the kitchen, stuck on a beard of some old rabbi, garlic in the hair, on the carpet, in the air. Yeap, Jews and garlic, yuck! "What's the deal with that garlic?" (Seinfield)

Jewish diaspora

old rabb

You really have a problem with Jews/Americans in Poland but you live in England. Why would you even care who rents in Poland when you don`t even live there?

Are you just trolling again? Your jealously of America and hatred towards Jews is very disturbing. Perhaps, you should seek some mental help for your condition.
