And they're not part of public life. The Amish traditionally don't even accept things like welfare or social security. Their situation is simply not comparable to benefit sponges in western Europe.

How do you know whether the people who went along to the meeting are "part of public life" or not, or whether they are "benefit sponges" whatever that is?

For someone who presumes to tell everybody else how they should approach certain issues, you don't know very much, do you?

The statistic I could find was that 75% of muslim women in the UK are unemployed (presumably just counting those of working age).

Please post more favorable statistics.... if you can find them.

Khan is obviously a sexist to think women are not mentally strong enough to look at a picture of an attractive model.
And as the Muslim population rapidly multiples expect even more British cultural changes.

Let London have what it voted for , same with Brexit, If the mayor wishes to do something like banning alcohol or posters in the city then he has a mandate from the people to do it.

What does the actions of the London mayor matter to the Polish people?, diddly squat zero.

Migrant Polish workers might struggle to get some vodka , but they still will be able to earn a good crust.

Poland has voted in its politicians in on a majority vote this should also be respected.

The new mayor of London is pro-Islam and of course, his first move was : a beginning of Sharia Law: women have to be much more covered in public spaces,

and swimsuits models cannot appear in public anymore,...

Those people at the rally were....Muslims and were acting in a way that is normal for them.
It is totally illogical to say, therefore all women will have to start covering up.

did you read what he says about London status in reference to brexit vote? something about him wanting London to become city state.:
"He declared: "As much as I might like the idea of a London city state, I'm not seriously talking about independence today"

then there are some from his office demanding right to issue visas and passports to be given to London authorities.

No school of Islamic legal thought forbids FGM all require or at least support it as a good thing.

Another article about this quoted another muslim in Ireland saying there's no need for it and that most muslims in Ireland " follow weak narrations" which I guess means ignoring a lot of stuff in the Koran and the hadiths as well (probably an excellent idea).

Thanks for the link Maf. I think the interviewer did a reasonable job of putting the guy on the spot and not letting him away with his comments. Our Islamic scholar on the other hand came across as a shifty piece of work who clearly knew he was defending the indefensible. There's a huge outcry in the national press over it. People are disgusted. A good thing because it's brought the matter to public attention. What we need now is a few prosecutions and there will be a great national will for it I can tell you. Irish people are easy going and tolerant up to a point but they won't go along with appeasing any extremist religious groups.
