Same as anyone who says f--- all the time in English, shows a lack of vocabulary and sometimes general ignorance. The classier Poles ( not particularly the rich ones ) don't do this!

"The best noun, pronoun, verb, adverb, adjective and interjection to express pleasure, pain, love and hate, has got to be fuck."
I'm just full of quotes today! :)

i use kurwa all the time because its a great way of practising how to pronounce the letter r in polish....although for a long time i did think it just meant fuck..until my pollish friends enlightened me as to its true meaning. now ive been told if i want to practice pronouncing the letter r. maybe i should try rower instead. kurwa, bicycles are boring, kurwa!

I almost never heard the word in Chorzów. But here in the country.....
One bright light is that I can now understand about half of what the neighbor says. Every other word.

I'll answer your question if you answer mine.

I have a lot of friends who use word f*ck a lot... pretty much in every fck1ng sentence, so my question is, do you know why they fck1ng do it? It's really fcki1g frustrating.

hey Poles, do you have word `kurvari` in Polish language? We Serbs have word `kurva` for some females and word `kurvari` goes for some males.

Kurva denotes also a certain undesirable personal trait. We say Kurva od èoveka. It means something like a really malevolent person.

Yes and if Crow says we have word for some females, that means usually that apart from one's mother and sister, later wife and daughter all other women walking the Earth are kurvas. First group represents naturally the group of true saints. To be beatified.

Kurva is the same as 'bliad' in Russian and is used in the same way.

Actually just kurwa does not bother me that much, sometimes it's just more funny than abusive. Using it as a comma is typical, and I would never judge any Pole just for using it. Quite everybody uses kurwa, proffessors, company owners (especially them!), teachers, office clerks, farmers... But we have so much more there! and I just can't stand it when, instead "what is that, kurwa!" (light version) I can hear: "Czy cię pojebało, złamasie pierdolony?? Ty to nawet chujem nie jesteś" - and don't ask me for the translation, moderators, feel free to put stars everywhere in these sentences.

what does the term Kurva Mac (pronounced a little bit like march) mean?

Years ago "mać" has meant "mother". Probably russification. Nowadays it doesn't mean anything. It's used soloely in the "kurwa mać" which, in my opinion, is a general swear. General as it's not targeted at a person. It's english equilvalent should be "for ***** sake".
