Spouse Polish Visa For non-eu citizen with UK residency card and travel to Poland

Cześć guys!

I have a question as I cannot find much information.
My husband (Polish with Polish passport) and I (from Kazakhstan) got married in London last year. I am getting residency card here in the UK. And we are not sure if I can travel to Poland with this residency card, issued in the UK, without visa. If not, I cannot really find an information about spouse visa to Poland either.

I would be grateful for any information on spouse polish visa or travelling with uk residency card for family member.

Thank you in advance :)

The relevant part is Schengen, UK is not in Schengen and Poland is and Kazakh nationals require visas to enter Schengen (unless you have an official passport rather than a regular one).

You should contact the Polish embassy to find out how to travel to Poland and/or Schengen in general.

No, you can't I'm afraid. You'll need to get a visa issued by Poland (or other Schengen country). The visa is free, and will be processed quickly, but it's still required.

All details are here.

On the other hand, I have travelled to the UK as a Polish resident and citizen with my identity card only and without any passport.

I believe that's because you're an EU citizen Ziem and nothing to do with Schengen. My husband travelled from Ireland to Poland and back with only his ID card. Ireland is not in Schengen either.

if you will need a visa then I guess you would also need a passport.

Poland's Dependent Visa

Hi,

I have a valid Visa for Poland.
My wife is in talk with an MNC to give her WP, however as I will be travelling soon want to apply dependent VISA, For converting her status from dependent to National VISA , does she need to travel back to INDIA and do it, or it can be done from Poland itself?
