Weapons laws in Poland. Carrying a concealed handgun?

Doesnt matter, 75% of Poles do not want migration from me or africa. Call us racist, xenophobic, nationalist whatever whatever. We don't care. Atleast we wont have any islamic terrorism. Personally if someone called me a nationalist i take it as a compliment.

As the saying goes, sticks and stones will break my bones but names can never hurt me.

@dolnoslask

Youre better off making a dazzler out of a floodlight circuit board and led lights. Costs about 12 bucks but the reaction of an attacker is priceless. Theyll laugh at you for whipping out a flashlight and say last chsnce before i turn it on. They laugh but you turn it on and within seconds you can make a small group og attackers immediately collapse and starting puking violently and sh1tting their pants, literally. Best, and probably the funniest non lethal self defense. I did it once to myself to make sure it works and you literally lose control of your body and mind till its turned off. Your head starts spinning you have no ckue where you are and then as the spins get worse you collapse on your knees and start puking.

Home made tazers are effective too but only for close range. You can easily make one by manipulating a disposable camera. But its one time use so you better make sure you connect before you push the pictuee button.

Don't be so hard on yourself, if they only got to know you a little they might not be so opposed to migration from you.... or.... maybe not? I dunno...

Youre better off making a dazzler

A already have a dazler torch and 9000 volt tazer combined plus copious tins of pepper spray all legal here in poland.

Pepper spray/mace/tear gas isn't effective against people who are use to it. But the other items - no problem.

@mafketis

ME meaning Middle East... You can't really be a migrant to a country you're already a citizen of.

That's because you are very immature and full of hate.

I am just baffled WHY people can't seem to stay on the topic of this thread.
HELLO ! anyone home !

Yeah, but media won't go crazy about this story... it won't be all over CNN calling for gun control.

Wanna know why?

The suspect is a 19-year-old black male

No white guy, no AR15, no liberal push for more gun control....

Just watch

To the rest of the members that are reading this, can we agree to ignore all posts from ShockedInPoland, please do not respond to him/her/zim/per (don't want to misgender by accident).

Tut Tut, if you cant handle the facts maybe you should avoid reading the forum. The fact is that anywhere you have a gun shoved in your face is uncivilised, having to arm yourself to protect yourself is merely proof of that fact.
delphiandomine 88 | 18,163

The fact is that

Yup. There's no doubting that, though I can say that I start to understand why Dirk feels the need to arm himself when there's such a massive amount of illegal guns out there. I guess he'll agree with me that it's a sick state of affairs for people to have to arm themselves in response to the inability of the American police/government to actually deal with the problems out there.

To the Americans here: would you support measures to take as many illegal guns off the streets as possible and for gun ownership to be subject to thorough background checks - but in return, licenced owners wouldn't face restrictions in what they own?

(I know it's unlikely to happen, but as a what-if?)

Correction i encouraged all european women to have a concealed carry - it is their option whether they want to or not.

They choose not to, not because they can't, but because they don't feed the need.
johnny reb 48 | 7,092

Well actually that is not true.

would you support measures to take as many illegal guns off the streets

They are already doing that delph.
The problem is that the mental institutions have been closed down by the Liberals in the U.S. because they claim that the severely mentally ill people that may cause harm to themselves or others have Constitutional Rights too so they do not deserve to be locked up.

So these people are out in the public costing not only innocent lives but a tremendous amount of burden to society.
Once society faces what the cause of the problem is (and it is not the guns) instead of trying to disarm the law abiding citizens of America by using guns as a political pawn to buy votes and grab law abiding citizens guns not much is going to change.

Take note that ALL the mass shooters have been mentally ill and on prescription drugs for mental illness that have side effects such as hallucinations, aggression and other adverse reactions.

This has been repeated several times in this thread but you Liberals refuse to address the issue and want to blame it on the guns to disarm America as that is what it is really all about.

NOW, can we get back on topic please !

I dont know what are the laws for carrying pocket mini cross bow in Poland

You asked this question a few years back on the pepper spray thread and I told you then that crossbows are treated as firearms. You need a licence to have one. There are different types of license though and I think crossbows are categorized under a collecting license.

There are mentally ill in every country, yet it is the USA which suffers again and again from mass shootings.

And what about as in UK
crazy people + knives=?????

@delphiandomine
Of course its messed up. Id much rather live in a society where i have similar economic opportunities without having to deal with the extreme levels of homicides. Even worse the vast majority of them arent solved. Its like when a tree falls in a forest does it make a sound? Well in chicago when someone murders a person, will he or she get arrested? More than likely not

Thats why i tell people here to be grateful they dont live in a place where theres a shooting literally every 2 mins, a murder every 15. Cops are useless and a concealed weapon wont automatically save ypu but it does make peopl3 feel safer and more confident esp women who use the subways and public transportation or drive through or live. In bad areas.

describing people with mental health problems as 'crazy' just 'others' them

that's the point! more seriously there are boatloads of crazy everywhere in the US among people who would not be diagnosed as having 'mental health problems' when I say crazy I mean 'irrational'
rozumiemnic 8 | 3,862
3 Mar 2018 #562
well maybe that is due to your lack of a decent health system and so many people living with PTSD...:)
Sorry but , y know, a load of Amurkins going on about 'guns' and 'crazee' just makes me...roll my eyes.

You asked this question a few years back on the pepper spray thread

Sorry.maybe I didnt read it then.Is you answer hear say or is it written somewhere?

The current law in my state, and each state differs, is you cant have any stays in mental institutions for 5 years. Same with drug offenses you cant have more than 2 within 5 years if you want to carry a gun. It seems silly bc a person could simply wait that time out or go to a state where he has no mental health record and obtain a gun. However if that person plans on using that gun to kill people or commit a mass shooting, hes not going to let some pesky paperwork or a waiting period stop him. He or she would just go buy an illegal gun.

Same w that adam lamza guy. He had mental problems and couldn't get a gun but was dead set on shooting people up so he killed his mom and stole her ar15. Now thats not the moms fault.

Ill tell you though, both illegal and legal gun owners wont be turning in their guns. Many rednecks would rather shoot it out than give up their legally owned firearm.

Even aussies so called success didnt eliminate guns. Yes shootings are down but according to several sources theres still hundreds of thousands of illegal unregistered guns.

You ban guns people will just skirt the law. Theres very little laws against manufacturing guns at home and theres no law saying you have to register them or anything.

If someone wants to cause mayhem theyll do it whether its with a legal or illegal gun, a car, a knife whatever. We see this in europe all the time. Now you have somalis throwing grenades at people. This wasnt a major problem before the migrant crisis. Should poland ever face a similar situation i guaruntee youll see ownership rates skyrocket. Even now theres 5k new registrations a year so legal ownership is gradually increasi f

Also instead of arming teachers, which yes some people may not be comfortable with, why dont schools just implement security procedures in order to get in. We had security officers and usually an armed cop too at tye entrance and had to pass through metal detectors when i went to school in the hood. There were a lpt of fights but nevet a shooting in the school and this was a school where there were tons of gang members

Rich, coming from you.

I'll try. Brother in law has decided to buy AKM rather than a pistol due to ease of licensing (e has a hunting license).

He wants to buy this in 7.62mm for 5000pln. Strikes me as way overpriced even if fully accessorised.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zastava_M80

Does anyone have a recommended gun dealer of AKM rifles in Poland?

is it written somewhere?

In Poland, crossbows are considered a 'dangerous devices' equivalent to firearms, and possession requires a license (Dz.U.2003/52/451). Hunting with crossbows is not allowed (Dz.U.2005/61/548).

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laws_on_crossbows

In addition refer to Art 4 number 4) b)

They are deadly, they can defeat police body armour where a .44 magnum would fail, plus you have idiots as in other European countries who go around shooting peoples pets. nasty things they are.

They are deadly,

Exactly and why O Well wants to carry one around in Warsaw is beyond me.
dolnoslask 6 | 2,935

Exactly there is no need to carry weapons in Poland there is no real danger here unlike some other countries and long may it continue.
