I am trying to define "Pole" vs "German". To me, what matters is in your head, not citizenship, and how fluent you (editorial) are in the local language.
Hitler was smart to make this distinction, as opposed to the current crop of Western idiots - especially the Brits. To them, every damn foreigner is a Brit - even if he hates their country.
.I doubt they were "polish" stamps then, Lyzko! ;)
BB talking to americans about it is like talking to a todler they just don't get it! I feel that way, not only that but they don't care about facts, they use it as proxy for their obssesions..
There is a simple test that separates implants from tribesmen.
No, we don't need a war for it. All we need is a soccer match. Which side are you on? Polish team or German?
It's really that simple. If you are a Pole living in Germany, citizenship and all, and you are rooting for the Poles and against the Germans, you are not a German - even if you wrote a dozen books in German and love Wagner.
because Poles in Germany were not Germans but foreign implants
Silesians in Opole region, Masurians in East Prussia were not foreing implants - their ancestors lived in their respective areas for centuries and they retained their language (one can argue if it was actually Polish in case of Silesians) in spite of the pressure for germanization since at least the middle of 18th century
Generally Poles in Germany and Germans in Poland are not foreign implants...
Indeed, one can easily argue that both state count more as foreign implants more so then either culture due to states moving in. (Silesia, Prussia, Pommerania are best examples of it. Where people chose or sided with German or Polish nation out of a plethora of reasons. Mainly safety, prospects and economy. Not only tho)
to be someone from the left, because the right doesn't like Jews.
you are not only ignorant - socialists didn't like /Jews historically. Also, you are detached from reality - right now left wing does not like Jews, where have you been with all those pro-Palestinian protests? you are hopeless.
@Ironside @Novichok The current situation is unusual and only temporary. Parties that would like to remove emigrants from Europe would have to be extreme right-wing, and they do not like any minorities, including Jews (e.g. AfD), in Germany.
and they do not like any minorities, including Jews (e.g. AfD), in Germany.
Nope!
That has turned around on it's head, in Germany at least, but I guess elsewhere to!
The most rabid anti-semites is now the Left....the more leftist the more anti-semite....the most radical leftist are even allies of Hamas!
The AfD openly endorses and supports Israel...both unites the fight against murderous Islamists....the green-leftist (not only in Germany) are unable to handle that conundrum and it shows....and costs votes!
No amount of "Demo against the Right" can change the fact that people get murdered by Islamists immigrants and not by AfD troops....if the Green-Left doesn't finds an answer for that soon they will lose percents in every now coming election...till into the insignificance!
