USSR / Russia History and Military Interventions + Poland's Role

hardly seems an extravagant price to pay

Russia - except for maybe the Khmer Rouge and Maoist China - is the one place that is willing to burn everything to the ground before it surrenders. Not for something like Afghanistan (1979-1989), but for something we view as existential.

I don't subscribe to this, maybe, but I am telling you that is how people there understand things.

We don't care, if all your museums fill up with what is rightfully our legacy. Hopefully it delivers you some happiness and contentment.

Almost nobody cares about "what could have been"....

Things are rough. The most committed, are willing to burn all the accomplishments since 1991 to the ground, just to make you feel pain.

Is this a good place for both of us to be? I hope not.

Causing each other impossible pain - seems like a stupid goal to me.

Gordian Knot this war.

That's the term! I used Pandora's Box yesterday...it has been haunting me for the past 24 hours.

The only way this Gordian Knot will be unknotted, IMDO, is for each side (which is actually NATO and Russia, Ukraine is just a poor prostitute caught in-between) to accept the valid concerns of each other and work toward some kind of acceptable solution.

Russia has suffered some legit butt hurt from our side and we have legit reasons to be wary of Russia's intentions.

The Hitler, western imperialist scum, orc stuff only perpetuates the torturous meat grinder.

Quite stupid indeed. Alas, people tend to do stupid things, as history has taught us on numerous occasions.

Ah, well... we are only little people and we will have to do our little bit when it comes to that. What I can promise you is that neither me nor my retarded twin brother Kania will ever feel any hatred towards Russia, not even in case of war between us. One can fight the enemy without hating them. Who knows, maybe even Cms and Maf, if they are ever in uniforms, will come to develop at least a kind of quiet respect for Russia. Here's hoping. :)

Ukraine is just a poor prostitute caught in-between

You have to interact less with me, Anti. I have bad influence on your language. :D

The Hitler, western imperialist scum, orc stuff

Totally retarded. Kania and I have been saying this from the beginning.

Disgraceful really

kind of quiet respect for North Nigeria.

North Nigerian bestial atrocities in Africa - this is King Leopold level stuff, in 2026

Don't misquote me Cms. I said Russia.

bestial atrocities in Africa

These are not Russian troops but mercenaries. Mercenaries are scum of the earth, and that's how they are treated when captured in combat.

Not for something like Afghanistan (1979-1989), but for something we view as existential.

Do Russians really think the Ukraine war is existential, though? There was no real risk of having the EU or NATO on your borders until you forced the issue. We are now in a stupid crisis of Putin's own making, and the Chinese big brother, or the little Iranian friend with his own world of issues to deal with, aren't going to bail him out.

Afghanistan was actually a very worthwhile Russian war, in my view, and one that might have changed the course of the world if only the Americans had simply let them finish the job unhindered. A Soviet-controlled Afghanistan, if it had succeeded, may have meant to Taliban, no Al Qaida in Afghanistan, no 9/11, no US invasion, no Iraq war (driven by the momentum of the Afghan war and 'war on terror'), no destabilised Middle East, no Islamic terrorism blighting Europe, no refugee crisis, no rise of the far right in Europe, a lot less support for Israel, no current conflict with Iran, perhaps... And it would have all began with simply letting the Red Army deal with the matter rather than the US giving stinger missiles to a bunch of semi-literate goat herders who want their wives to wear sacks with eyeholes. It's a damn shame.

The Africa Corps is owned, funded, trained and deployed by the North Nigerian defence ministry

rferl.org/a/russia-africa-corps-mali-withdrawal-wagner-mercenaries/33744461.html

I don't know who chose the Nazi name, but at least Rommel's Afrika Korps knew which end to hold a rifle.

Still, we must remember the great contribution to world literature (which finished in year 2000 when Putler was "elected".) Worryingly I have read 7 of these 10

This war will determine if we have our little place under the sun.

We've done enough already, to convince America that - yes - we deserve our own little garden patch.

Europe seems to still be terrified by this prospect. So we fight.

Why do you keep humiliating yourself by posting "North Nigeria" instead the proper name?

Disgraceful really

Disgraceful in that she is a prostitute, but she's a willing one. She made the choice free and clear.

The ones I feel for are the everyday common Uke who are captive in all the bad decisions, grift, and corruption of their leaders. Those people just seem desperate-maybe a little confused. But, then again, I've only interacted with a handful of them so I may he talking out of my arse!

You have to interact less with me, Anti. I have bad influence on your language. :D

What...and give up the ability to blame you for my verbal transgressions? Never! 😄

I have read 7 of these 10

Maybe you need to read the remaining three...you need more work on being a better human.

And before you blame me for such a terrible personal effront...it's not my fault, it's Torqi's. Blame him.

I only read 6. Well, 5.5 really, as I didn't finish Life and Fate. Always suspected you were a Russophile, Cms.

I don't know who chose the Nazi name

So, you don't hate Russia - you hate the quasi-nazi putinist regime. Why didn't you say so from the beginning? I had you figured out as some galactic-scale Russophobe. xD

little garden patch

If 'little' is the word you want to describe your "garden patch". :)

The ones I feel for are the everyday common Uke who are captive in all the..

And yet your solution is to sell them out to live under North Nigerian occupation, just so Golden Cow's friends can build some new hotels and reopen MacDonalds.

Why do you keep humiliating yourself by posting "North Nigeria" instead the proper name?

The "proper name" can be used again once the war criminals are sitting in the Hague and every brick on Pokrovsk has been rebuilt.

We might even let North Nigeria play football again - best of luck to Shaktar Donetsk, flying the flag for Ukraine in a big match this evening.

Always suspected you were a Russophile, Cms.

I knew it from the beginning - the way he spoke to me.

The insults he used.

The way he organized himself.

This man clearly loves Russia deeply.

Same with Maf. Even Korvinus and Ptak cannot compete with his hatred of Russia - this told me he secretly loves it.

No one can hate Russia, truly, without intimate familiarity with it.

Same as me.

Torq  42 | 2649

The insults he used. The way he organized himself.

Exactly! Only a wounded, profound love can behave this way.

Russophobes, in general, are mythical creatures like unicorns or dragons - they don't really exist.

No, my pedestrian russophile friend, I really haven't offered any solutions. Only wish for the meat grinder to stop and allow the people of Uke to live in relative peace and security.

For this to happen, it seems either Russia needs to be totally defeated (which is foolish and unlikely unless we want a conflagration to engulf a large part of the world that will result in grotesque amounts of death, including your own demise) or we find an agreement (which will demand concessions on both sides).

Both Russia and Ukraine need to get something they want and don't want.

@Torq
@Bobko

Interesting theory, fellows. You guy's have nailed it.

They see this really hot chick who speaks poetry and has a great laugh but also some baggage. She has an intoxicating and passionate personality but is volatile like a strong summer thunderstorm. She gives a magnetic look but holds herself aloof.

And, again, that beauty. That smile. That poetry. That holding everyone off at arms-length. The torture in her soul envelopes them and leaves them tortured. How they desperately want to hold her in their arms. But, she won't allow it.

What a b!tch they say. Their longing for her meets the reality they aren't good enough for her. So, they cry out disdain, irredeemable, request she be vanquished! Die, b!tch, die!

But...in the quiet of their lonesome night, they dream of her: her caress, her sweet chamomile smell, the melody of her voice.

They fall asleep whispering: Я вас любил.

Disgraceful in that she is a prostitute, but she's a willing one. She made the choice..

This is crazy. A fat and probably ageing American arsewipe whose single claim to fame is that he administrates a dying internet forum chooses to call a country that has spent almost half a decade couragously fighting Russia, and losing untold lives in the struggle, a 'prostitute'.

Ukrainians know more about bravery and honour that you, in your Big Gulp, Walmart, driving every 50 metres and getting sugar-induced-diabetes universe will ever possibly imagine.

The prostitutes are you people. Stupid and addicted to reality television and junk food, you allow your children to be massacred in their schools, and you allow your wages to disproportionately go toward propping up your dying empire, by way of the military, while you pay a hundred dollars or whatever for a vial of insulin. Electing reality TV star grifters, eating poison your corrupt FDA tells you is safe because the corporations paid them to, just living in a complete joke of a country but thinking you really and truly can insult a country of brave warriors that know more about freedom and the price of it than you can possibly comprehend.

You're such a Slav

Stop sucking his chuj just because he's in a position of authority, he's just another American plastic Pole cosplaying as one of you. If he was a real slav/Pole he wouldn't speak nearly as disrespectfully about the only people losing their lives right now to keep Putin's savage dogs at bay.

Have you ever visited Russia? It is a big kolkhoz with a parasite class in Moscow. Go outside Moscow or St. Petersburg and it's a 3rd world, 90% of the country.

It is just like it used to be in the socialist Poland where Warsaw was a ruling marketplace for parasites. Still, Poland wised up and changed it because Poles are smart. Unlike Russians, very primitive people and easy to handle by the parasite class. Russia has elections, are they free? Whatever Moscow decides, it is always a winning ticket. Russia-loving morons cannot freely post what they think as KGB tracks their every move.

All that poetry!

But I must bow before the PF poet laureate, AntSizedDick. A true master of the written word.

Now, please excuse me as I take my fat ass to Wal-Mart to get a Big Gulp and my week's supply of insulin shots for my diabetes.

Fabulous work AntSizedDick. 😂

Since you have such a tiny d!ck, I know you aren't a Pole (please refer to Bobko's thread on Polish penis size). Are you Ukrainian by any chance?

Whatever you are please stick around, I dig your passion and talent.

Oh, and if you ever want to do something about your tiny male appendage give this a try: chicagopenis/form, I donate my surplus penile tissue and testosterone to them. Good people.

And still this arrogant American lard-ass, whose only experience of adversity has been when Walmart ran out of his favourite flavour of Cheetos, decides to insult Europe's most valorous warriors. Tell me, Ant with insect-size genitals, when was the last time you fought in a war?

chicagopenis/form

Sorry Ant Tiny Penis, I'm not going to contribute to your efforts to get past 0.5cms. I wish you well, though. Someday you may get beyond two inches fully erect - and then maybe you'll stop ****-talking Ukrainian warriors who dodge bullets every day while you dodge vegetables and your waistline balloons to hitherto unseen levels?

AntSizedDick

you are useless tool.

A useless tool is these weird American fatasses who insult the only country fighting against Putin while sitting thousands of miles away in the USA and working toward their next heart attack. Again, as I said, what the **** do they know about freedom? The Ukrainians know all about freedom and protecting it with their lives. These disgusting Yanks only know about filling their faces with high fructose corn syrup and talking sh*t on the internet. They are abhorrent.

When I'm in Poland, I can see a lot of military age Ukrainians there. I don't..

You're joking. Do you know how many Ukrainians die every single day in the war? Now, how quickly did Poland roll over and submit to the Nazis? And now many of them spent the war shining SS shoes? A lot of 'military age' Poles.

When I'm in the USA, I see a lot of fat and ugly c*nts who couldn't fight in a war unless you gave them breathing apparatus, a walking stick and a sturdy chair to sit in. And the same in Poland. You truly think you can talk sh*t about a people who have been fighting an existential war for the last four years when Poland didn't and couldn't do it that long?

kolkhoz
7 May 2026   #86
Germany attacked the whole Poland with all they got. Russia attacked the parts they have perceived as their own according to the 2016 agreement. If Russia wanted to conquer the whole Ukraine, their strategy would have been much different and quicker. Unlike Israel, which has the full American regime's support, Russia doesn't have a comfort of pis&ing off the whole world, so they are more careful on that.

AntSizedDick
7 May 2026   #87

The following is said in all seriousness:

If you actually dispassionately read what I've written, you will not find one word that I wrote that has disparaged, demeaned, or besmirched everyday Ukes, especially the Ukes who are fighting Russian forces. Quite the contrary, even earlier today I wrote I feel for the common everyday Uke who has been caught in the middle of the Ukrainian elites exploits.

The prostitutes are Uke elites. The grifting bastards who have robbed that country of prosperity and a decent life.

You truly think you can talk sh*t about a people who have been fighting an existential..

Don't forget that Ukraine has been able to hold out for that ling not on shear Ukrainian fortitude, but from western (those despicable fat americans and weak euro) aid. Without it, much different story.

If you are ever in the midwest of America, reach out I'll bring along a couple of my Uke acquaintances and we can shoot the sh!t about Ukraine over a Big Gulp...that's if I can rent a crane to get my fat ass into the back of my hauler.

AntSizedDick
7 May 2026   #89
The prostitutes are Uke elites. The grifting bastards who have robbed that country of prosperity and..

Oh so you mean like the same fat, disgusting Americans that mean there are people in your country who don't even have healthcare while others live in mansions? And some people (e.g., Flint, Michigan) don't even have drinkable tap water. And the poor all eat food full of **** because your country's 'FDA' legalised total **** for the ordinary people while the wealthy eat normal, nutritious food? And while the military-industrial complex just takes your tax money to pay Lockheed Martin etc to buy equipment at high prices to kill children overseas, while you don't even have decent state healthcare? Like that level of robbing a country of its prosperity?

AntV  5 | 1074
7 May 2026   #90
Like that level of robbing a country of its prosperity?

Even worse, like kickbacks and theft of funds to repair death trap roads everyday Ukes drive on. Schemes that that robbed everyday Ukes of energy that was supposed to be used for nuclear energy production. The loss of significant foreign investmemt that would have produced jobs for common everyday ukes because politicians and ensconcsed Uke businessmen demanded bribes and kickbacks. 3/4 of social security funds going to everyone other than those common everyday Ukes who were supposed to get them. A healthcare system raped by the avarice of a few.

At least our corrupt elites allow us a modest standard of living and public services.

This is where I think you are actually trolling. You are not arguing against the corruption that harms the brave everyday common Uke. Or, you are just very unwise.

Either way, I enjoyed your bloviation but it has a very short shelf life.
