Poland and Israel getting back on the right foot...maybe

Seems Morawiecki's still sore at Netanyahu about the latter's remarks concerning "Polish complicity" during the Big One.
I figure most hope for some reprochement, but we're not holding our breath either.

Morawiecki was correct in calling it for what it is: "racist anti-polonism"

Israel needs to beg Poland for forgiveness and pay reparations measured at a level measured in its GDP.

That'll be 350 billion US$ by the 2017 number.

It's the only way to make things right.

Reproachment will have to involve both sides acknowledging and taking seriously the others' perception of WW2-related events, and not simply Poland unconditionally accepting Israel's.

No point maybe it's time to cut all ties and hold meetings in country that might be friendly to Poland Iran for instance.

After all the Iranian people helped many thousands of Poles who were release from Jewish run gulags in the USSR.

Right??! What on earth's right about it? Little Israel, struggling to keep her GDP above water should be expected large Poland for merely the hint or insinuation that not all Poles were angels during the Shoah, that maybe the bullIED were also perhaps the bullIES in some cases, and for that Israel should pay??!

D'you realize how insultingly litigious that sounds?

Nice sentiment Intermarium.

But there are too many Zionists and Zionist PRL-era Poles on this forum to support that.

In their warped world Poland always needs to prove itself to Israel and shower it with unconditional love.

Not love, just respect would suffice:-)

Hey, they can do what they always do and send the bill to Uncle Sam who will tax it out of your wages.

I'll say. And it's long over due for Israel to start showing Poland respect. And it's high time too for Israel to start working to earn any respect in return.

For now, Israel should be grateful that anyone outside of America tolerates it.

I agree with your post.
But I still think you are a troll.

Since the Poles control all media outlets in the USA as well as the entertainment industry, financial institutions, and have the most powerful lobby, it's no surprise that the US and most of the world simply do as the Poles tell them to.

Israel then deserves respect any less than Poland? The Israelis gave the Poles a chance for decades, why, several of their PMs were Polish-born, e.g

Ben Gurion.

Always easy to blame the victim, in this case Israel, for trying to survive against all imaginable odds, then turn around and blame the bullied one for retaliating as any normal human would, as it some of us are more deserving of basic human respect than others??!

I've never heard such pure garbage. Sounds almost social Darwinist.

No they deserve to be nuked. Or at the very least be inundated with the same genetic waste they've pushed into Europe and the US

Guess now I know which side you'd have been on during the war, and please don't tell me "the right side"!

Ben Gurion.

A deserter who ditched the Anders army soon as he could.

Polish Jews identify as Jews first and foremost. Even when given the option of integrating with polish culture most preferred German or simply remain jews and unassimilated

The funny thing is that Israel's policies and the ones Jews want for their own homeland is what every far right person wants for theirs. But they don't want the goyim to have that. No instead they'd rather divide our people and invite in mud and convince the feeble minded it's the humane thing to do.

Every statement about banning gay marriage, banning marraige certificates for mixed couples, dna testing for any potential immigrant, a proper wall not some puny fence, secret nuke program, shooting any invader that even dares to throw a rock should be followed by 'just like in israel.'

No one would dare question extremist views lest they be called an antisemite.... I.e. The military should shoot any Muslim that illegally enters, just like in Israel

Again, the assimilated urban Jews did NOT! You're generalizing again.

Imagine telling Tadeusz Rozewicz or Julian Tuwim they weren't PolishLOL What were they then, Chinese?
Dirk diggler 10 | 4,585

Assimilated? Maybe a few odd exceptions...

Loyal to Poland? Definitely not. And nothing has changed. Just like tuwim who escaped as soon as danger got too close for comfort instead of standing his ground. Then again most of his tribe aren't known for their heavy lifting. They prefer others fight their wars for then and run away if it gets too close. Big admirer of communism and the Soviet Union that guy, just like most Polish Jews.

Just another jew allying with the red army and USSR, betraying Poland... Nothing new.

Many Polish Jews were loyal to Poland.
The problem was that they were in general, more loyal to their own kind.
Perfectly understandable, but it shows that they never truly assimilated.
Same thing is happening in The UK now with a multitude of races and religions....which does not bode well for the future.

Dirk, I'll admit Polish Jews on average were not as overall integrated into Polish society as those in Germany.
Yet, don't lump all Polish Jews into one shtettl, for goodness sake!

Read my comments above.
Jews loyalty to Jews was more important than their loyalty to Poland.
Understandable, but it shows their lack of integration.

Jews loyalty to Jews was more important than their loyalty to Poland.

Just as "good" Muslims have all the loyalty to the terrorist Muslims and none to the infidels.
I know it's off-subject. I used this example to show that being disloyal to the host country is normal among the religious fanatics. God first, all else can go to hell. Even if it mean 3000 dead in 3 minutes.

Yup,that's about the size of it.
Thank God for the "Bad" Muslims....we have quite a few here in The UK but they still seem to be outnumbered by the "Good" Muslims.

Many Polish Jews were loyal to Poland.

Yeah... As long as the Polish goyim were buying in their stores and saving their asses from the innumerable amount of people that wanted to kill them (a unique characteristic of Jews - more people hate them than any other nationality or race and it's been that way for thousands of years, but no they're all antisemites it can't be the jews ). And this is how they repay Poles for first letting them into our country when they literally overstayed their welcome in every other place in Europe and no one wanted them around, then saved them a second time in WW2??? All to be extorted for reparations, properties to be given to jakov shekelsteinberg's nieces husband's cousin, and constant demands. Still it's better than the alternative of them in total control of Poland like they are in the usa, france, etc.

Yet, don't lump all Polish Jews into one shtettl, for goodness sake!

I'm not. That'd be too kind. I am lumping them into the backstabbing traitors group with zero sense of patriotism let alone honor. Even the gypsies didn't **** over the poles like Jews did, and we treated them far worse. They are a foreign element in Poland and always will be. Poland has had to pay dearly numerous times merely for having a Jewish population and it's still paying for it today.

For every Jew so described, there were notable exceptions. Let's not judge any group by their politics, after all, most Poles I'd like to think are basically honest by nature:-)

Issue is political. Talking about history doesn't do a thing.

The question is WTF Israel is doing?

I mean is Israel think Poland will support them in the EU together with other V4 countries. Support their war with Persia IF they will just keep doing what they're doing, they must be crazy. Demanding contribution from Poland. Have they gone totally of the rocker?

Bye! It was nice knowing you.
