Why Poland achieved nothing at all?

God dosn't care if you believe in God

Oh, really?

Hebrews 11:6: "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him."

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

just how you treat his fellow creations

Christianity is not some secular humanism or generic ethics, it's about union with God, which requires faith. True faith is something that penetrates the very core of your being; Gospel - when you truly believe - runs in your veins and guides your soul... you cannot reduce it all to some moral minimalism: "oh, just be nice to your fellow creatures". Great saints were openly abrasive and sometimes even insulting towards people when they saw them straying from faith. Holiness is so much more than niceness and God commands both: love of neighbour and love of God.

Join this Orthodox Church already, Amiga. It's schismatic, with faulty theology of procession of the Holy Spirit, and in most cases subservient to the state but at least they will teach you why faith matters and why grace, sacrifice and redemption are not to be dismissed or replaced with just being nice.

Great saints

Ah well now, to be fair, they were a motley crew :) some very odd ones amongst them.
God dosn't care if you believe in God, just how you treat his fellow creations.

He does care actually. Love God, love your neighbour is the basis of Christianity. If you acknowledge His existence, you become aware of your oneness with Him and unity with God is what informs true love of your neighbour.

"Christ has no body but yours,
No hands, no feet on earth but yours,
Yours are the eyes with which He looks
Compassion on this world,
Yours are the feet with which He walks to do good,
Yours are the hands, with which He blesses all the world.
Yours are the hands, yours are the feet,
Yours are the eyes, you are His body.
Christ has no body now but yours,"

(St. Theresa of Avila)

But even if you just do good, that's cool too ;)

By the way.... what's up in Ireland now? I keep seeing reports of protests about fuel prices, something about a group invited to meet some government figure then not allowed in.... all very mysterious.... what's the poop?

Eire is a funny old house of cards, it truly is. Rely on fuel and defence from your much-hated historic enemy next door, become a tax haven for US tech companies, watch your property prices and cost of living soar through the roof, but all they can do is pontificate with noses in the air about Palestine because "we was colonised too once!". Next to Poland, it's probably the European country with the most po-faced sense of its own martyrdom and least ability to reflect critically upon itself.

They should move on and thank their lucky stars that the island isn't next to France, Germany. Spain or r*SSia.

And most have moved on; it's only people at ease with themselves or who drink to much that go on about it.

And most have moved on; it's only people at ease with themselves or who drink to..

Considering their coastguard is one bloke with a rowboat and about 90% of the illegal guns and cocaine in the UK come into the UK via Ireland, I would say they need to man up, remember who's actually protecting them from Russia, start respecting Britain and remember who's actually buttering their bread here apart from US tech companies.

Ireland certainly is and if you try hard enough you may eventually display a degree of knowledge sadly lacking in your comment.

Sorry Paddy, who's saving you from Putin if he comes a knocking? Spain, is it? They were a great lot of help in the last big fight - just like you lot were.

Wasn't aware I was trying to insult ye, Sonny Jim, just pointing out that the Republic's about as much use as a chocolate teapot in a military conflict (and always has been), prefers to bomb women and children and leave defence against continental European threats up to the Auld Enemy, and is currently only good for bending over and spreading its cheeks for Americans tech companies.

All I can say is that the Irish people are not too happy with their government right now, just like the Brits,The French and The Yanks.

This is something from f*cking outer space....

who's saving you from Putin if he comes a knocking?

Hahaha!

Russia will never, not even in ten thousand years, invade Ireland. But if it did, I doubt the British military would present any kind of obstacle, given it has a smaller army than Armenia, and fleet which is permanently docked.

@Bobko
Don't worry about the failed troll he wasn't surprising and unforgivably he wasn't funny.

Only one European country has interfered in Ireland and it's not Russia. Ireland in fact is a case study in the pluses and minuses of British rule, the part still occupied has worse metrics in everything from life expectancy and hospital waiting lists to GDP than the part free of British rule. Worse metrics in everything except environmental issues, water quality is atrocious sewage pollution is rife and the roads are crap.

@Fellow Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
Chill Chill! I was only being provocative to defend the saintly Czechs against Kania's nasty and unprovoked attack. Of course, I believe faith in a higher power is a fundamental tenet of Christianity.

Back on topic

Poland has achieved a significant economic milestone by officially surpassing the one trillion dollar threshold, positioning itself as one of the most prominent success stories in the European Union. This rapid ascent has drawn international attention as it appears to deviate from the typical socio-economic trajectories often seen in Western Europe. The country has maintained its upward momentum through a combination of industrial expansion and long-term strategic planning, all while maintaining a consistent social and cultural landscape that stands in contrast to the experiments seen in neighbouring nations.

  • Poland can into space!!

Good news, and it's woirth mentioning that this is really noticeable when you spend periods outside the country.

No part is 'occupied' of course, however any discrepancy in health outcomes is more to do with industrial regions having different outcomes to rural ones and this is mirrored pretty well everywhere in Europe.

surpassing the one trillion dollar threshold

Damn!

Very impressive. Honestly.

That's slightly more than a third of Russian GDP, with a population more than 4X smaller, and an absence of any of the large resources Russia has.

Poland can join the G20 now I guess.

Seems the G20 is not really the G20, more of a concrete NFL rather than the promotion and relegation of European Football.

'G20 members Argentina, South Africa, and Saudi Arabia no longer rank among the world's top 20 economies, but retain their seats due to historical precedent'

Stupid club anyway.

Russia was part of the G8 and a whole lotta good that did for us.

Just a discussion club.

Real power still in the UN Security Council, IMF board, and other places that issue binding decisions.

and the absence of a retarded dictator that you're required to kneel to as he destroys the country..... that helps, a lot.
