Why are people so obsessed with Eastern Europe, for God's sake, Europe as whole, historically is a definition of the melting pot.
As for influence of the Tatar population, seen as major, is actually minimal, not wort mentioning, besides we did not mix very well, mixed marriages were uncommon, besides there were few Tatras as a percentage of the population.
The way I understand, there are subversive elements in Western European countries, trying to deny our rightful place among Nordic nations.

Europe is a collection of individual an separate ethnicities, living for centuries, often in bellicose rivalries with neighboring petty states, dukedoms, dutchies and so forth.
Yet for nearly as long until the past seventy years or so, these people's were living as almost homogeneous units within the same continent, Germany for Germans, Poland for Polish, Denmark for Danes..... NOT ( horrors!) every one of these groups in one
