kinda debatable.we dont know if Soviets would attack Poland if situation on front was more favourable to Poland,and Polish allies committed to alliance and joined war from beginning.

Soviets attack Poland when Poland was already defeated and allies show no serious will to help.it was more like opportunistic move to grab polish land before Hitler nazis arrive.

They captured Lwow and Vilno, not Warsaw and Gdansk. Those territories were populated by Ukrainians/Belarussians/Lithuanians mostly. Poland couldn't keep them forever all the same unless they would change treatment of the local population. At least they been saved from ethnic cleansings from the side of Nazis, but then subjected to political purges from the side of Stalin.

Dresden bombing as any bombing by the US was 100% preventable. Say "we surrender" - no bombing.
