I did. But, I am not sure if you understood what Esperanto meant. It was similar to that joke that here brought English and German together, that's not bad. Esperanto was aiming to do a similar thing seriously rather than the joke to bring Slavs, Germans, Yiddish/Jews, etc. Anyway, Zamenhof lived beyond his time and paid the cost by losing his children.

Oh hang on, I've just realised that we've all overlooked a hugely important thing about Zamenhof: he was deliberately not invited to take part in the London victory parade of 1946. This must mean that he was Polish.

So he was in the RAF as well, very talented man.
