in 1940 BoB the England faced German air force with help from Poles, French and other pilots. the reason German lost the BoB it to change of tactics

as Germans started to bomb the civilian population instead concentrating on British military objectives, Hitler wanted to bomb the British to submission.
the reason why Hitler did not advance onto Dunkirk and did not invaded England after victory in France was he was hoping to make peace with England as English royal family is first cousins with German aristocracy.

and BB German lost BoB well before they attacked Russia.

Yes...and now re-read both arguments you made...one of them doesn't fit. Can you spot which?

But you couldn't! You're to small for that.
Even so you needed the pathetical slaves from your colonies to help you out...

Sorry no, we are not too small for that. We just tended not to have ridiculously extreme governments like Germany and Russia had, creating massive aggressive forces, in recent years. incredible really thinking of it all. If we had such a right wing government, then maybe they'd focus on creating a massive number of troops, tanks, etc

Sorry no, we are not too small for that.

Well, yes you are...the british islands can never compete with an 80 million people, highly industrialized, armed to the teeth country.
You were no different to the rest of Europe the army overrun...only GB weren't on the menu.

If Hitler had meant really business he didn't even would had needed the Luftwaffe...concentrating on a blockade with the wolf packs would had been much more efficient!

In no time GB would had been forced to negotiate, as did Germany after WWI. Such a blockade becomes nasty very soon. And starving people are much more agreeable to any kind of change!

But Hitler had a soft spot for you...don't make it to something it wasn't only because it pleases your ego...

We had hear around 50 million. That's a fair amount, so we could create an army with several million troops for sure. We are a highly industrialised nation, were on of the first! And I guess we didn't need to negotiate, for our situation at that time, we fought a clever game in order to win.

But Hitler had a soft spot for you...don't make it to something it wasn't only because it pleases your ego.

what ego? Nobody here says we won this war alone, unless they are stupid. And it pleases my ego that Hitler had a soft spot for us, because, we are great

Who forced you to declare war on Germany?

Complete and utter stupidity, that's who. If Britain had done nothing at all in response to Germany's invasion of Poland, Poles would not complain and lie any more about Britain than they currently do. In fact they'd probably do it a whole lot less as there probably wouldn't be a Poland and there would certainly be a lot fewer Poles!

Time line BB as Hitler was hoping to make peace after France victory and England did not made peace so he started BoB and lost the end

does it fit now

Pity in some ways, I may never have met the big nosed, cold, strange Polish girls that I did, with 2 in mind in particular. I think the world would be a better place without those two, ugghh

Of course, I love some of them, so nice. hi Poles x you're great, honest.

God Marek, look at the timeline again, the BoB was not a war, it was a skirmish, from From July to October 1940...that was NOTHING!!!! 4 month! That was all!

After the France war and before Barbarossa, these were real wars and were important in the Chancellory and the High Command...get that through your head!

*rolls eyes*

It was a defeat of the German luftwaffe, by the British RAF. Ende.
Bratwurst Boy 12 | 11,823
29 Apr 2010 #251
Yeah...defeat...ROFL.
Wanna have a look at the aces chart again????
Not many Brits there and so far down the ranks it's not funny! ;)

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_top_World_War_II_aces

Shouldn' Brits lead all the ranks if they defeated the Germans? No? Heh:)

I don't know why it's so hard to accept that you were defeated there. It has nothing to do with this list, I do not even see authenticity and verification of this 'list', sir
Bratwurst Boy 12 | 11,823

I don't know why it's so hard to accept that you were defeated there.

Because we weren't!

It never was a real battle like the rest of Europe, Poland and especially Russia had to face...so stop squeezing you in the same line.

I do not even see authenticity and verification of this 'list', sir

Well, there are alot of books out there if you don't believe Wiki...tire yourself out.

you are right BB Germany lost the skirmish BoB which lead to loosing ww2, ether way Germany lost.
Barr_2009 1 | 252
29 Apr 2010 #255
You were defeated, you idiot. It shows weakness not to be able to accept this.

Either way, your list has nothing to do with the outcome of that battle, which UK won.
Bratwurst Boy 12 | 11,823

you are right BB Germany lost the skirmish BoB which lead to loosing ww2, ether way Germany lost.

That would mean that GB was pivotal to the outcome of WWII...not the US and surely not Russia...you are not serious, aren't you!

Either way, your list has nothing to do with the outcome of that battle, which UK won.

It becomes interesting if you claim you "defeated" the Luftwaffe, that the RAF was somehow superior to the German pilots...

It shows how ridiculous these claims are!!!! :):):)

Wanna have a look at the aces chart again????

Comparing pilots who faced the Red Army on the Eastern front to pilots who faced the Luftwaffe is like saying a man who has shot 150 squirrels with a machine gun is a better hunter than a man who's killed 20 tigers with a bow & arrow!
Bratwurst Boy 12 | 11,823

Thanks for the compliment but downtalking the reds, your allies who saved your arses, isn't going to explain the low ranks of RAF pilots on the aces list I fear...

well, we were, history showed it.
Bratwurst Boy 12 | 11,823

History showed that GB lost!
They were kicked from the continent and needed the US to help them to come back...and together the US+Russia wore Germany down.

That is the history folks...not more, not less.
Barr_2009 1 | 252
29 Apr 2010 #261
History showed we were outnumbered by far, so lost because of that, the battle (not the war) in France. Then we defeated the Germans in a fairer fight by air, in Battle of Britain.

:-) :-) :-) ;-)

Which is odd really, given that despite all the great German aces the western allies were able to use their airforces to lay waste to pretty much any German city that took their fancy. How is Dresden these days anyway? Still full of praise for the great German pilots who took such care of the city?

Alright. I love German sausage, I had some in Hamburg, it was tasty.

BB stop your nonsense US and Russia had nothing to do with BoB and you need to accept it,
BoB it was a start of defeating Germany.
and German pilots ware not superior to English, Polish pilots as they lost BoB.
Germans got a lot of kills in Russia not over England.
Bratwurst Boy 12 | 11,823
29 Apr 2010 #266
Read your own arguments again!
Hitler never turned the full might of the Luftwaffe on GB, he wanted to avoid a war with them for his own reasons...tell me seriously if you believe that the Islands could have survived an onslaught of the german forces as Poland, France or Russia had to face?

Honestly please!

How is Dresden these days anyway? Still full of praise for the great German pilots who took such care of the city?

Well, never said it was smart of Hitler to let the Brits go away.
He was betrayed by them in a way too...they never repaid in kind.
In the end they specialized in terrorizing civilians as they had not much else to bring to
the allied military table...

I've even seen accounts from German pilots saying that the RAF was suprerior, and that they hadn't faced an enemy like it before.
Marek11111 9 | 808

England outlast Germans in BoB and defeated them then destroyed Germany by air so I can say that England withstood all Germans had thrown at them see maybe you can fallow this

lost BoB invasion of England not possible

Yes, that's why british aces are so disproportional present in the list of air aces of WWII...oopsie! ;)

You never faced this one!

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erich_Hartmann

lost BoB invasion of England not possible

Yes, those four months of air skirmish after the british army were kicked out of Europe were horrible...uncomparable to the holidays all over Europe 39-45...yup!
Marek11111 9 | 808

Last time I checked England was in Europe
and just stop with this German aces.
If Russians had better airplanes there would not be so many of this German aces.
