Szendrecki / Sięndrecki / Kałus - Looking for Ancestors in Piekary Slaskie

Please forgive the English message. I am looking for information on my grandfather's family, which is proving very difficult to do from Canada. My grandfather Wenancjusz Szendrecki was the youngest of his family, born in or near Piekary Slaskie in 1924. He fought for the Polish Allied Forces in WWII and was displaced to Canada in 1947. He left behind little knowledge of his family and was always very secretive about it. I know from some research that his father took part in some uprisings in the area and is listed as Jan Sięndrecki (1877 Bytom). There is also an original spelling of Szendzielorz. Jan was married twice. His second wife was my grandfather's mother Gertruda Kałus (~1890). I also know that my grandfather had three sisters named Anna (1904), Malka(1913), Genoweffa(1910), and three brothers named Alois (1906), Tadeuz(Tadjzo)(1919), and Franz (who went missing in Russia in WWII). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Sięndrecki is unlikely the correct Polish spelling as the letter "ę" cannot be followed by the letter "n." Siędrecki is more likely the correct version.
