WW2 Polish Soldier Franz Zenz

Hello, I am trying to find my grandmother's father. All I know is that his name is Franz Zenz (or Senz or Senze or similar) and that he worked as a construction worker in Warsaw (Domen?) before he was enlisted into the army. He was sent to, or at least ended up in, Norway during the war and met my great grandmother there. He was born approximately year 1916.

If any of you know anything or know how to find him, I would really appreciate it.

Franz Zenz

Lots of people with this name listed on familysearch.org, but mostly from Austria and the US, nothing listed with this name for Poland.I am presuming you also have German/Austrian ancestry?

I probably have some German/Austrian ancestry yes. We are pretty sure Franz was polish though.
