Just discovered this site while searching for my Great Great Grandmother's place of birth/residence and want to thank all in advance that may be able to help.
Amazingly after searching for more than twenty years, I found a departure list from Hamburg, for Leonora Romanovski/ Romanofska- Konczalski and her four girls arriving in New York on Nov 1895. The Hamburg lists Chrostkowo as their place of birth and as her 4 girls were born there, assuming she married her husband Konstantine Konczalski, in the same town. Also assuming he came before her, as he is not listed.
