Is that a yes you were adopted or "Adopted!!" as you are insulted for me even saying that?

They figured us out guys, time to change strategies.

It's Ok. You forget that once a woman has her monthly "visit from Aunt Flo" she forgets everything she learned that week.

We're solid :)

i am adopted and had a wonderful upbringing with loving parents.

its no secret and have always been taught to be proud of it.

OK good. I thought I offended you for a second there. It was either adoption or mommy slept with a black man and daddy is denying it saying you have an all year tan. :)

Armenians were not "dark skinned" genetically. Over time SOME areas mixed with arabs countries due to invasions. Also the filthy turks killed millions of armenians.

Also the filthy turks killed millions of armenians.

It would have been a lot better if you said "The turks of that time were filthy and killied millions of Amernians."

You don't see us calling all Germans filthy do you?
schultz

But everyone knows germans are not filthy :) Besides My matka is polish! A turk is a turk I don't care how you slice it!

A turk is a turk I don't care how you slice it!

So you honestly believe they are all filthy?? That is the worst attitude ever.

Who cares what I think? You seem to have this sickle to grind im not sure why.

Don't know what you're talking about. I have no problem with you at all, just racists in general. I can't stand it when people just hate others for no reason and refuse to learn about them. And when they do learn they twist it around and make those people look even worse.

Yes because we all know people hate others for no reason at all. Get real my friend. There are many reasons more then i would care to list why I don't want the likes of turks and other invaders in europe. I know plenty about history of all cultures. I can also see clearly of things.

Its because Poland and the Ukraine were invaded by the mongol hoarde.
Look at spain to see the arabic influence.

Poland not really that much.

Thats not true. Mongrol tribes and mixtures are few and far between in the slavic countries.

It's fine that you don't like them. I just hate it when people start making groups of other people look bad, being Polish I know what its like.

I don't dislike you or your thoughts on other groups, you're entitled to it, I just ahte it when a group of people are generalized is all.

Poland not really that much.

True, they were turned around after reaching Poland.

I have the same stupid problem.. I tried to think either tatarzy or some sort of romowie.. I have been asked if I was Armenian or Arab, because I have black eyes and darker skin, but I have brown-red hair. Everyone in my family had olive/light brown skin, black eyes, and jet black hair. :( The only thing to do is to do an autosomal DNA test and it will test your ethnic composition... Btw, there were Romans, Scythians (light features), Sarmatians (light features), Armenian, Arabs, Jews, Turkics <ie Khazars, Tatars, etc.> (not Turkish*), Greeks, Gypsies (Roma), and many others that were darker came to this exact area.

By the way, the Mongols and the Huns before them, made it past to Germany and north-east France causing most PA Dutch like my father to have East-Asian DNA..

Yep, the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was very multi-culti. Add to that all those wars that took place on this land and all those amounts of rapes that followed it and you will know why half of my family could play Gypsies/Turks/Romanians/etc and the other half look like bloody Aryans. :)

Looking at mtDNA, you see lots of east Asian results in Poles.
Didn't happen by chance.
Tartars or 1944/5 rapes, your choice.

I have to say I have never seen dark or olive skinned Poles - apart from Gypsies, but they are not ethnically Polish.

Depends what you mean when you say olive, as there are many shades of it.

I don't know if I have an olive skin, but I definattely tan well. People generally think that I'm a Turk or Romanian.

My guess would be that you have olive skin, Matty. Not a bad thing to have......wish I had it.

Why? Nothing against you Matyjasz :) but I like being white. I don't see why so many women want to be so tan? Before you go tanning.....look at a raisin. Thats you in 5 years :)

I don't mind being white either, but I have very fair skin and am more likely to burn as opposed to someone with olive skin......has nothing to do with tanning........ I just think olive skin is a beautiful color for skin. My father had olive skin, my mother was a fair skinned Irish Lass.....guess who I take after!:) Another thing I think is it falls in line with the human yearning of having something we don't have......example, I always wanted curly hair, because mind is straight. I have a friend who has curly hair that wishes she had straight hair......simply a case of the grass being greener......:)

but I like being white. I don't see why so many women want to be so tan?

Yeah, I don't think a tan would go too well with the green melon:)

Hey.......I can pull it off :) Maybe I can edit that picture and make the cat black and the melon yellow, like a mango :)
