Great Grandfathers naturalization papers, Volnick (Wolnik)

I am looking at my Great Grandfathers naturalization papers and it says he was born in Lazance, Galicia Austro Poland....i can't find this anywhere....can someone help?

My name is Adam Wolnik. My Grandma Josefa Wolnik ( she never maried but has one child - Stanislaw Wolnik - my Father.
Josefa Wolnik was a doughter of Stanislaw Wolnik; born in Bielcza. Stanislaw Wolnik was one of night children: Maria; Zofia, Anna, Katarzyna, Franciszek, Jan, Josef, Jakob. As my Grandma told me - Zofia, Jan and jakob emigrate to USA. My Grandgrand pa - Stanislaw Wolnik died in firtst World war in Febraury 1914 in Olomouc (now Cze ch Rep in Austran Army.

Stanilaw Wolnik was rail worker and move to Stryj (south of Lwow in that time Poland now Ukraine). His wife after hi died grow four children: Josefa (my grandma); Wanda, Piotr and Kazimierz. Piotr was in france undergound oragnisation again Germans in second war. Kazimerz feight in secon war again Germans in Polish Corps on Britisch site. I have only few old picture. The old generation already died. I am 53 years old an stay in Germany. Sorry for my englich but my mother language is polish and a secon one German. In 60-ties 70- a family from USA visited poland and my sister a a young girl meet them I don't know whom.

I know that one of Wolnik (Volnick) from USa was a soldier in second war and was in France. my mail is aewolnik@t-online.de

WOLNIK: possible etymology: 1) from old first name Wolimir; 2) topo nick from Wolnica; 3) topo nick from one of numerous localities called Wola (freetown - originally tax-exempt settlements to help get them started).
