Nut Cups: I think those would be "Pecan Tarts" and if you do an internet search, you should be able to find a recipe. They're easy to make.

We just made some Pecan Tarts yesterday.

30 dag of flour
10 dag of butter
10 dag of margarine
3 egg yokes
10 dag powder sugar
1 14 oz can of condensed milk
pecan nuts to garnish

Combine flour, butter, margarine, powder sugar and egg yokes to make the dough. Place it in a freezer for an hour. Make the dough about 1 cm think and fill the forms. Place it in preheated oven at 200 C for about 25 min or till golden brown.

Filling:
Place the condensed milk can in a pot, completely immersed in water and boil for about 2.5 hours. After boiling let it cool before opening. Stir and fill the dough, garnish with pecans.

Enough to make about 8 3 1/2 inch and 8 2 3/4 inch tarts.

has anyone ever heard of rolezchski's (spelling is wrong, but my dad always pronounced it roll-ech-ski).....he said they were Polish (from his mom) and my mom lost the hand written recipe......it was a cream cheese dough rolled very thinly then cut in very thin triangles then rehydrated prunes and apricots were placed on the end then rolled up like crescents...I've seen similar recipes, but I don't think they are the same.....any help would be appreciated.

Merged: Polish cookie recipe

Hi, does anyone know a recipe for a cookie that has yeast and milk and egg? My grandma made it but She never wrote it down. I know these ingredients because I once tried to learn it by watching her. This cookie had a great taste that I attribute to a spice but which?

Thank you.

my grandmother would make chrusciki when I was a little girl - I always remember them being a tough cookie - my dad would dunk them in his coffee- I loved them that way - all the receipes I have- they come out very light - any ideas how to get them to be a tougher cookie - I have fried them in lard - but that still does not make them the way I remember
