Weird name... in Hungary 'gulyas' is a soup (not far away from the beef stew I grew up eating). What gets called goulash in other languages in Hungary is porkolt (add umlauts to the o's)

But the Hungarian name for Szegediner gulasch is Szekelykaposzta (Sekler cabbage) though the Szekely is actually the name of the guy that sort of created it in Pest.

The Hungarians typically laugh heartily at the Poles when most visiting Budapest, especially during Communism, would mispronounce the place name SZeged, making it sound like "SHeged", hence eliciting paroxysms of laughter from their Hungarian partner.
