Staying on thread (re-closed)

Why is it that some are allowed to post 'off-topic' daily yet when other Posters do it one time they get a warning ?
As in the thread: "Does democratic Poland guarantee it's LGBT citizens respect for human and civil rights?"
Just go read all the posts in that thread that have NOTHING to do with the title of that thread.
People are allowed to post an off the wall opinion unrelated just to get a personal opinion in about something
that is controversial. Then when someone replys to such a post they get a warning yet the off topic post gets to stay.
Then if such an off topic post is copied and pasted on the Off - Topic thread to debate it another warning is given for taking a post from another thread and reposting it on another thread.

Maybe putting a limit to three posts per day would help cure frivolous posts and also keep people from taking over (hogging) by replying to ever post made.

Just go take a look at the thread "Does democratic Poland guarantee it's LGBT citizens respect for human and civil rights?" and you will see all the off topic posts by a few 'special members'.

I think it is time for a (voted in by the members) native Polish mod to level the playing field. :-)

Sorry but it wouldn't be nice(or the right thing to do) to comment on other moderators, past or present. As Tom Hanks once said,"what happens on the mile, stays on the mile"

If you don't know we ain't gonna tell yah, you will be banging on about that one for decades. Yah great big grass,

I always wondered what said female mod actually looked like. Probably a bit better than average....i reckon.

You wanted to say, WB, that you were banging on and on for years about someone on the forum being a toilet cleaner?

Lenka......oh yeah, I remember her.
I sent her a private p.m. once that got me banned.
I would have given a months pay to have been a fly on the wall when she read it.
You can bet no man had ever told her what I told her. (still lmao)
She was one ornery witch with a "B' in her pocket who obviously never heard of Midol.
I can't imagine going thru life without laughing.

I would like to have my threat of Why are Muslims seen as a deterrent to Poland? opened back up again.
After recent threads touching of the same content I see no reason why my thread is out of order or that the people that go "off - topic"

are simply not binned like other threads.
This topic seems to suddenly been accepted after my thread was closed.
Thank you

Please, no. I'd be very happy if it was kept closed, on the grounds that it's simply weird that an American with no connection to Poland would want to discuss Muslims in Poland.

But why? Anyone can discuss Muslims in Poland, this is not against any of the forum rules.

Honestly, it's fine if people living here are discussing it, but it's weird that someone with no connection to Poland would want to discuss such a thing without knowing the slightest thing about Poland.

It's weird for you, but it's not weird for me. Where is the truth about being 'weird'? Who on this forum is best placed to judge if something is 'weird' or not 'weird'? You or me or admin or mods? Who is it, prey tell.

The Admin and mods. The rest of us can just give our opinion.

Having said that, it's obvious that some hard right wing foreigner commenting on an issue about which he knows little to nothing will always cause trouble.

From Wikipedia: "Currently the total number of Muslims in Poland is estimated at around 31,000, most of whom are Sunni."

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_in_Poland

If someone is interested in Muslims and Islam, PolishForums is not the best place to discuss it. There may be one general thread opened, but we won't allow more just because some poster is fascinated with the subject (which evokes off-topic / unrelated to Poland posts). They will find better places for that, for example: islamicboard.com or ummah.com/forum/.

The disciplinary is inconsistent but the Forum functions rather well considering Guests can post which is rare for a message board these days.

Ethnic/religious minorities are always relevant when discussing any country where such communities exist and they pretty much exist everywhere. There's nothing wrong as such, in my view, with anyone discussing the issue of Muslims in Poland. Speculating as to how Muslim culture might affect Polish society is reasonable I think. The only problem I have with it is that it will turn into the usual badgering, baiting and trading insults rather than an interesting discussion.

It is inevitable that in the current climate any discussion on Muslims will quickly degenerate into a hate-fest. As Admin says, there are other places to talk about them. As for

Why are Muslims seen as a deterrent to Poland?

if the thread title actually meant something, it might have merit.

Some poster you say ? The thread I started on exposing the Muslims agenda got closed because people went off thread ?
The allowed thread that started two months after mine was closed, took off like wild fire with over 2000 post in two months.
I would have to say those close to 2500 posts were not made by "some poster" and many in that thread are totally off topic yet they are allowed to stay.

It is very much related to Poland as Poland needs to be educated on Muslims true agenda to deter them from infesting Poland.
NONE of my native Polish pen pals want them in Poland yet the bias libs, ex pats and migrants here try to paint a completely different picture.

To stop such propaganda it is important to Poland to have politically incorrect people here to be able to convey the facts of the matter

to help keep Poland a pure culture of Polish and not what London looks like.

Johnny, I suggest you re-read what the Admin said.

we won't allow more just because some poster is fascinated with the subject (which evokes off-topic / unrelated to Poland posts). They will find better places for that, for example: islamicboard.com or ummah.com/forum/.

Go there and discuss the topic. There really is no need for more than one topic about Muslims in Poland.

Johnny, I suggest

You are the last person to suggest.
Maybe it better that you listen to what I suggest to you do.

Go there and discuss the topic.

How many times have you been told that delph ?

There really is no need for more than one topic about Muslims in Poland.

To stay on topic we actually need more then one.

It is inevitable that in the current climate any discussion on Muslims will quickly degenerate into a hate-fest.

Why do you think that is Roger ?

Never. I don't find it difficult to avoid starting topics about Muslims.

To stay on topic we actually need more then one.

It's not about being "on topic", it's about the fact that you've been clearly told that there are better places to discuss Muslims.

If you want to discuss Muslims, do it elsewhere. Most of us actually in Poland are sick to death of hearing about them.

Doesn't seem to do much good when you are clearly told so why do you think it should work for me ?
Besides delph this thread was started way back when you were still banned so your opinions don't count.
The Muslims agenda should be exposed for what it is.
