Guess our native Polish speakers are gonna have to figure out from context if one's referring to "piec" aka "five" vs. "piec-" referring to "baking" or some such thing:-) LOL Really unprofessional, not to mention just plain sloppy, of our Administrators!!

Yeah, I'd already thought along those lines too. It's going to be especially confusing for new learners.

Well I have now worked out how to enable Polish language, but only by reading something on a Microsoft support site. I can now type ą by pressing malpa and ó by pressing hash key. Can't work out how to get any other letters up.

@Chemikiem

Don't know what you're doing, but it's quite simple. Go to language preferences. Add a language (Polish) and choose Polish Programmers Keyboard. Not the other Polish keyboard.

When you want to type a letter with diacritic, press right-alt and the key of the letter without diacritic. So rt-alt a for ą. For ź, type rt-alt x.

That's exactly what I did Dominic, but I chose the other Polish keyboard, just switched it to Polish programmers one. I had no idea how to change the language input from English to Polish, so had to google to find that out. Will start playing with the keyboard again now.

only a couple left to find now.

Are you on Win10? Simply click on the little magnifying glass in the lower left corner of the screen and type "Font" into the edit box. Then click on the "Font Viewer" link, select your font and see every single character that is available.

Yes.

click on the "Font Viewer" link,

I don't get that option to click on. But thanks for trying to help. I'll find them all by trial and error, not too much of a problem now I can actually get Polish letters!

I don't get that option to click on.

Do you have the option "View installed fonts"? Click on that one.
