Cannot find the "ask the moderator" thread so I'll start a new one, please feel free to merge it with the old one.

In the past I could see post numbers in the corner, so I could reply to someone "check reply #12" for an answer to your question.... I don't see those numbers anymore, could we get them back plz??

If you hold your cursor over the # then it appears. I guess it's the same on those blasted iphones;)

That's something I'm noticing very often, each time the admin changes the layout the iPhone/iPad experience changes even more, usually for the worst... Yes, I'm using an iPad (and iPhone), don't see no stinkin' post numbers anymore... :(

You can't "hold a cursor" on iPad/iPhone. Your finger IS your cursor:)

Yes you are right, I've just tested it on my smartphone and although the # goes live when you set the cursor on the message box, there is no info about the post number. Something, maybe admin will look into for mobile phone users.

Well there you go, for the money they charge, you'd think they would give you a cursor :)

...but that's also why you are incorrect. Your analog TV and the home made orgasmatron failed to calculate correctly, it was post # 4, not 3. LOL

It would be much appreciated, in longer threads it's always nice to be able to reference a specific post by a # rather than to keep quoting ad nauseam.

you cannot see the number?

Nope, what I see on that simulator is what I see on my iPhone/iPad.

Example, the last post...

Admin (penis symbol) [administrator] .............................Today, 00:37 (mailbox) Reply / Quote #

That's it, just the # symbol, no numbers...

It's called magic WR.

PS. This is post # 9

Uhm, have you ever used an iPad? How do you "hover" over the #??

That's what I'm saying, the changes on PF seldom take touch devises, such as iPads and iPhone into consideration...

Java script "no worky"!

Yeay, the numbers are back, on my iPad and on my iPhone!!

Mucho dziÍki!! :-))

New unannounced and confusing feature, part 94:

Why are authors of some quotes shown in red, and not in black bold as before? Why isn't it bold and red to aid reading?

When will Admin understand that 'mystery' features are confusing and help nobody?

Test

See what I mean? The ones above are in red. No makee sensee.

Merged: What happened to this forum??

Haven't been on PF for quite some time, several years I think? (except for a question I posted sometimes in 2014?)

What the heck happened to the formatting of this forum? I used to be able to read and post comments using my iPhone but now this forum is basically unreadable when using an iPhone? (posting when using photos and images was alway tricky). I can post a comment but reading is difficult because the font is huge, I mean ginormous and it's incredibly hard to scroll through older messages? I couldn't find a desktop view option either?

I guess I'll go back to my hibernation den.... :-(

Skysoulmate, if you turn the iPhone sideways it works a bit better.
