In my opinion, the dialogue thing doesn't really work with the extremes on both ends of the political spectrum. They are always the ones who scream the loudest about free speech and how unfairly they are treated, but they have no problem to lock opponents up and suppress the free press once they are in power. That's why I am somewhat uncomfortable to give them a platform to spread their hatred and propaganda, and the chance to infect others with their ideology.
