Not forcing us into stopping the mobilization, for instance, would be quite helpful.

And how exactly did Britain force Poland not to mobilise? Threaten to invade? Perhaps Poland should have got ready for war before her military dictator started boasting about how much Poland wanted war with Germany?

Royal Air Force was quite strong then, wasn't it? How about bombing the hell out of Germans, for example, no?

No it wasn't. It was neither well equipped nor well trained. As can be seen by the results of the missions in the first week of 1939 (e.g. bombing Denmark).

The Royal Navy was supposed to be the strongest in the world at that time - how
about sinking the entire feckin Kriegsmarine? That might somewhat decrease the German war potential, no?

The same Kriegsmarine which the pride of the Polish navy had run away from? You want Britain to go into waters which the Polish navy considered too dangerous to be in and fight a battle the Polish navy ran from? And the Royal navy wasn't equipped to fight against a U-boat navy, as can be seen by the loss of one British aircraft carrier in September 1939 and another only escaping due to a faulty German torpedo.

The Brits couldn't even put themselves to the trifling inconvenience of diplomatically inducing the French to move their arses off the trenches and invade Germany from the West, when all the best Wehrmacht units were fighting in Poland.

Blame the British for the French doing what the French always do: nice. If Poland was too stupid to know that France always only does what is in the interests of France, that is not the fault of Britain.

That's why you can stop accusing me of lying, because, quite obviously, you are the one who is doing all the lying here.

You are lying, most shamelessly, about Britain betraying Poland. You can neither point to a single part of the treaty which Britain did not keep to nor point out a single action which Britain could have taken in September/October 1939 and did not take. But still you persist in your lie that Britain betrayed Poland: Goebbels would be proud of you.

considering Czech actions during Polish-Soviet war, like not granting military access to Hungary or stopping the trains with military supplies for us,

Supplies which Poland had shown it would be perfectly prepared to use against Czechoslovakia and armies from a country which three years previously had occupied Czechoslovakia. I wonder why Czechoslovakia didn't want either on Czechoslovakian territory.

I have a feeling that we are venturing into the area of cabaret and humorous writing. Wrong thread, I think.

The operation in question is well known and well researched. Even you are clearly not prepared to lie about it.

No... please... and I mean PLEEEEEEEASE - don't tell me that your entire argument hinges upon some memoirs of a man, who could have, or I should say, most likely did have certain obligations towards Great Britain?

Not at all, there are also other eyewitnesses, statements by both the British and Polish governments, media reports from both Britain and Poland (and the USA), historical records, more than enough evidence to shoot down the lies of pathetic losers who can't handle the truth. And I do like the way that you accuse a man who did infinitely more for Poland than you will ever do of being a liar.

No. I gently request that YOU produce a copy of that mythical invitation. If you can't do that, it would seem quite reasonable to shut the f*ck up and stop lying.

Of course, it's all a big lie. The entire world has conspired, most certainly at the demand of the Jews, to lie about the snub that was given to Poland. The lie was even started before the parade and not a single person involved in the lie has ever spoken out about it. Thank god we have people like you to point out the lie (although you forgot to point out the Jewish involvement in yet another of their plots to make Poland look bad).

:D

OK, Harry, I give up. I have all the facts and truth on my side, but I simply don't have your persistence.
It's Sunday, and I simply couldn't be arsed to deal with your outrageous lies all day.

Just remember - you will never be truly Polish, if you don't see the World through a Polish heart.

I will leave you to brood on it.

“ Denmark, with a mixed market capitalist economy and a large welfare state,[6] ranks as having the world's highest level of income equality.[7] Denmark has frequently ranked as the happiest[8][9] and least corrupt country in the world.”

Through ongoing collaboration with Nazi Germany during the WWII , this country didn`t have to rise from the ruins and then it didn`t fall into nearly 50 years of existance in the clutches of communism. If Poland did not pass that destruction and slavery than we would be a leading country in Europe , today, having in mind that during just 20 years of free market economy we managed to cath up with so much on so many grounds.

quote=Polonius3]Any comments on this?[/quote]

The answer to this thread is very simple - an internet troll must have a medium to exist. Will die if you don`t give answers to its posts or threads.

After all, it is clear and obvious who puts posts just to stir up hatred.

So , why don`t you leave them . Everybody knows who they are . After 4 months of being here I know most of them .

having in mind that during just 20 years of free market economy we managed to cath up with so much on so many grounds.

I'd say that Poland's ability to climb from destruction to the present place today is very admirable. Compare to places such as Albania today, and you can see how Poland has done a good job, all things considered.

oh god, moaning continued.... but the fact remains that Poland's 'devolution' had begun much earlier than WW2, 17th century and onwards to be exact...but I'm sure your teachers had somehow presented each mistake and blunder as at least a moral victory and brain washed as you are, you go on your bleating Polska! Polska! rant, as usual.

But NOOOOOOO, they didn't betray us - not at all. *rolling eyes*

About the war issue - the trolls will answer that Poles always look for some "conspiracy" against Poland and then trolls start to mock Poland . Usual tactics . No objective knowledge, but lots of hatred , only to cover their cowardice during the war .

When you ask them for sources , they answer like this :

Of course, it's all a big lie.

You are lying, most shamelessly

The entire world has conspired,

to shoot down the lies of pathetic losers

it's all a big lie.

What a resourceful answer full of facts and historical knowledge , wow , a historian would envy your inventive mind , Harry .

There is no point to waste time for such discussion .

You, probably, just read what some non-Poles say. If you really look at all the threads and what some Poles write, then you might find bashings of people from all over the world.

You are right. I propose the name Bigots Forums instead.

Compare to places such as Albania

I would expect some more admiration from you, than just simply comparing our achievements to Albania , how could you ; this means that you are not honest and your posts are biting , delphi, my friend .

Don`t disappoint me , next time , pls .

you go on your bleating Polska! Polska! rant, as usual.

I am so sorry for you that you are in a state of denial of your Polish roots .Maybe when you grow uo and have some family on your own you will change your mind .

Sitting here on this forum, it proves to me anyhow , that this process has already begun.

I am sure that soon, you will wake up in the middle of the night and you will shout out with delight -" I am a Pole ! Godddd , I... ..AMMMMMM .... A POLEEEEEEE........ ! NOT FLAGLESS BUT REAL POLE ! and you will run, a bit confused , to thank your, Mom for giving her polish genes to you " .

well mods, you see where that's heading... anyway I'll play along till the nonsense gets binned though I think I'll refrain from bringing anyone's family into this farce.

No Moania, retorting your menopause-crazed rants is anything but a brain strain. It's more of a sobering reflection that if there are more nutters like you in my father's old country then it will truly take generations before the whole country will catch up with the rest of the world. Though as someone had pointed out, the reality according to PF' is very far from its real life reflection which hopefully means you are a dying breed of increasingly marginalized minority.

??? It wasn't me with my friends, it was People vs Idiocy

little buggy now ?

buggy??? well I've always thought of myself as more of the convertible type... but heck whatever makes your hair curl...

buggy???

For your weary mind

adj. - Something that is annoying, obnoxious, frustrating, or irritating to an alarming degree;

.

Idiocy is created by your senseless comments about Poland and Poles.

haha whose mind? And how does that fit into this lol?

I didn`t ask mods for help , little buggy now ?

the correct way of saying what you try to convey, getting lost in online dictionaries, would be, if anything, : "... little bugged now" though even that sounds a bit weird.

please continue lol
Monia

I have given you some synonyms of -"buggy", lol.

I used it in a shorthand , " little annoying , now " which meant , this situation when I am obnoxious to you , now , is a little annoying to you .
FlaglessPole 4 | 657
17 Jul 2011 #52
this situation when I am obnoxious to you , now , is a little annoying to you

in which case I should be annoyed

It is very clear that you think in Polish and the way you formulate yourself in English is more or less a direct translation of your Polish thoughts. You are evidently not at that English proficiency level where you actually think in English, nothing wrong with that, after all Polish is what you are, just saying.
Monia
17 Jul 2011 #53
Lets leave it like this - " I am a Pole and I am proud of it and yes I formulate my thoughts in Polish .

But if you were a gent, then you wouldn`t point out my every mistake or make such derogatory comments about me .

But if you were a gent, then you wouldn`t point out my every mistake or make such derogatory comments about me

In this thread I was merely replying to Torq's btw quite correct assumption that Danes, if 'left antettended' tended to glorify their history. However I also pointed out that we were not so hung up about the history and largely aware our 'closeted' skeletons, which we had long ago figured to be the remains of the Jewish Gay Atheist Crypto-Swedish ice-hockey team.

To which you very poignantly suggested I should thank my Polish mum, (which btw in reality is Danish but never mind that little detail...) for genes?? Did you mean jeans (you can be confusing you know)? If so, she is quite partial to Levi's :D

well, one could be a gentleman about it, sure, but I'd so much rather take the fuck out of it (you)

'left antettended' tended

haha by that I meant 'left unatttended' ;P

No one in Poland, including me, l does not want to repeat over and over how Poland was treated during the war, but I become irritated by comments, which are harmful to Polish status quo .

I also would prefer to talk about other topics, but still someone on this forum is quite fond of drawing on Jewish or war affairs and repeats over and over again distorted facts.
FlaglessPole 4 | 657

Do you feel better about yourself after you wrote that to the woman you never met?

pretty indifferent I'd say, but it is rather amusing to be admonished about something like that by *you*, venom and rancor personified.

I also would prefer to talk about other topics, but still someone on this forum is quite fond of drawing on Jewish or war affairs and repeats over and over again distorted facts.

Then save your 'patriotic wrath' for issues that really matter, and if you think deeper about it, you'll find that there indeed are very few that really matter.
Harry
17 Jul 2011 #58
distorted facts.

Says the woman who lies about an entire street in the former Jewish district of Warsaw being full, apart from a single building, of renovated town houses when in reality not even a single building on that street has been renovated.

only to cover their cowardice during the war .

love, you look old enough to have been around during the war,as a lawyer probably happily working for the law worshiping teutons................but,well,the rest of us were born in the 60s,70s or 80s....

But if you were a gent, then you wouldn`t point out my every mistake

and if you were a Lady you would never play on your gender.Or find quite so many people making

derogatory comments .

Bzibzioh
18 Jul 2011 #60
and if you were a Lady you would never play on your gender.

She's getting your derogatory comments just for the fact that she's a woman who has the nerve to talk to you, oh great mighty MAN you are. I like how you keep the progressive and open minded front while being just a closet taliban. Yep, you read that right. Hypocrite.

it is rather amusing to be admonished about something like that by *you*, venom and rancor personified.

By "venom and rancor " (whatever that is, I'm not even going to bother to check it out cos I don't care) you mean I dare not to fancy you and suck up to you. Wanna call me more names in return? Be my guest. After all, you have nothing else to offer to this forum.
