I'm going to give it a try now. This only happens on my laptop, not my mobile.
Firefox/Safari don't support the auto-grow textarea feature yet, but they will soon.
I have no idea what you mean. I don't use either of those browsers. I use Edge and it's been fine until recently, so there's obviously been some new change. I just want more than a 2-3 cm window to write in and to get shot of the arrows.
the post box/text window? It used to expand with writing a post but now
Amasing! I thought the problem related only to my PC and Chrome browser, while it is universal. When I use another less known browser, it is OK. Chrome / Edge / Opera should have no problems. A temp solution was added that it should somehow work in Firefox and Safari after browser cache refresh.
It SOMETIMES appears when I write a post. It ALWAYS appears when I edit this post. The box is so narrow I can see only 2 lines of the text. And nothing helps.

Exactly. It happens every time I write a post. I haven't bothered posting that much as it's too much of a pain. Already I can see the arrows are still here.

Nothing has changed. It's still the same. I can only see a couple of lines of text.
you have uploaded some bastard update that has £ucked it all up.
Admin is trying to sort it out for me but nothing's working at the moment. It's something to do with old code in my brower's cache but clearing it is not working.
You Kraut's thought that at Bastogne, Belgium, during the Battle of the Bulge in World War II too only to get your asses handed to you. Let not history repeat itself.
You Redneck's.....well, yes, you suggest that Germany lost World War II because the Americans disturbed their night peace too often and they couldn't get enough sleep.....and in the end there was not even morning coffee?
If we gave him all the money right away, he would just run away to Argentina with it.
Better to not joke about people running off with donations, a few people here still remember something very similar happening. Does the name Convex mean anything to you?
We've just implemented a new forum feature - Favorite Topics. Now all users (including unlogged) may bookmark their favorite topics. To do that, visit a discussion page and click on the FAVORITE [ ] checkbox in the bottom/right corner of the page. If the checkbox is set, the discussion will appear on top of the main page. To remove a topic, unset the checkbox.
NOTES
- The feature solely relies on web browser, so your Favorites won't appear if you use the site on different browsers,
- When a topic is removed or archived, it should be automatically removed from your Favorites,
- The links are updated whenever you visit your favorite topic. The script marks the newest post on the visited page as "read," meaning that when new messages are added in the future, the last message on this page will be your reference point. When a link is underlined, it indicates that new post/s haven't been read yet.
- Currently there are some numbers in front of the favorite topics - these are the reference message IDs for information purposes.
the discussion will appear on top of the main page.
Yes, it works. I think I might use it instead of faulty Search function which doesn`t show the threads with latest dates but offers a complete chaos and I need to run through 3 pages of search results to find a thread I posted in 2 months ago coz it is usually at the end of the list instead of at the beginning. You can use "My Threads" link or "View All Posts / Threads" feature to easily find your posts or threads. The general search is not specifically designed for that.
That`s true. I am still thinking how to do it from Poland. I don`t have a credit card so I have to send a direct transfer from my account. I need the receiver`s name, address and bank account.
complains the most.
Of course that`s a rightist lie. Ha!!!
