My wife and I will be moving to Sydney from NY at the end of this year. I received an offer from one of big four to join as a senior auditor/accountant. Since my employer provides a great package (free flights, relocation costs, and a decent salary), I strongly believe that I cannot pass up this opportunity. At this point, I am in the process of clarifying all terms of my offer. I believe that my wife will start looking for a job once we get there (she is ex-senior auditor, and she currently works as a senior accountant).
I cannot really live without polish food:) Fortunately, my wife was able to find polish stores and restaurants in Sydney.
Anyways, we are both very excited. However, we really do not know anyone from Poland living in Sydney. We are still young, and we would like to meet with others to get drinks and find out about the city. Please let me know if there are any clubs where we could meet and network with others.
