Hey all. Let's get to it. I was visiting family and friends in the summertime in Poland and met a cool girl. I'm thinking of having her come to me to the USA for just a visit. I heard Trump has put Poland on the visa waiver free program which is exciting. So all my lady friend needs is a Polish passport and a airline ticket am I right? I just want to be sure on everything before I talk to her. Thanks all. I will be checking the forums once a day.

No. Your lady needs fo fill something called ESTA. See here for details: businessinsider.com.pl/wiadomosci/wizy-do-usa-zniesione-oto-zasady-wyjazdu-do-stanow-zjednoczonych-autoryzacja-esta/qdbnczs

Try google.

Mainly iy's just questions about the person, their lives e.t.c. Considering the girl is Polish I doubt she will have any problems filling it out.

Try filling out the form yourself and cancel when it comes to payment. Also you can try to get Australlia and New Zealand ESTA which is required by Americans also.Very simple normal questions and usually the approval is in 30 minutes and no need to carry any paperwork. My 3 pals in Poland got there ESTA done and the approval was emailed in less then 30 minutes. The site recommends but dont require to print and carry the approval.Until the person has any criminal record or has voilated any immigration law in the Usa they have no problem or they have to go personally to apply for the visa.ESTAcosts 14 USD and is valid for 2 years and still is no gurantee for entry. All depends on CBP officer.

Or visited one of the 'bad' countries. Not many people do to be fair but still worth mentioning.

That's why as a Brit you can have two passports !!, use one for visiting dirty countries and the other to visit the USA, it saves a lot of hassle at US immigration control, especially useful if you have business interests in the US ,Arab, Jewish and Russian worlds, or any other bongo bongo country that the US considers bad, not sure if you can have two Polish passports ??? could be useful.

As an American too,you can get 2 passports as Saudi Arabia dont allow you entry if one has a Israeli stamp on your passport.Usually Israelis dont stamp American passports but if they do,one can get a second passport to go to SA.Maybe its for other countries also,I dont know.

Yes,true that and also if one has been refused visa,ESTA responds by advising to apply visa personally in the embassy.

you can have two Polish passports ???

Yes a Pole can have 2 passports and one of the valid reasons is exactly that issue.

- protecting your life or health - for example, going to a country affected by armed conflict,
- humanitarian activities - for example, participating in humanitarian missions,
- difficulties in crossing the border of a given country - for example, it has visas or seals of one of the countries that are in conflict,

- state security."
