According to Google Lambert&Butler is the most popular. Cigarettes are very expensive in the UK £4.50/£5.50+ so many young people smoke the cheaper brands like John Player Special, Mayfair, Richmond and Pall Mall.

I'm not a smoker myself but I am informed that most of the cheaper ones mentioned, are below £5.

I know from my friends that L&B are expensive but check out the others. In fact many people I know are smoking roll-ups now days because the price of ciggies are a rip off. Still it keeps the price of petrol down;)

Did someone take a survey on some scummy council estate?

What cigarettes are most popular in England among young people?

Marlboro lights are the fags of choice amongst people I know.

People living on council estates are consumers too. I would assume the best survey would be to ask the leading manufacturers, which brands they produce the most due to demand in the UK?

I've noticed Marlboro lights seem to be the choice of many young women. Supposedly the "light" in the name means that it's more healthy for your lungs;)

They'll be telling us that people prefer soapbar over home-grown high-grade next, lol

It's like commiting suicide by jumping off the 10th floor instead of the 20th :)

I read where in Poland one-third of the packet's surface must be a health warning (threat?): PALENIE ZABIJA. Also the word 'light' can no longer appear. Is it true that the cheapest fags in Poladn run around 6 złotys?

Not only Poland - it's EU-wide. I remember back in the 90s in Poland you could go to a kiosk and get a packet of 'Black Death' (I'm pretty sure that's what they were called - packaging like the front cover of a Motorhead CD, anyways) for groszy.

thank you very much people. If you remind yourself of some more cigarettes, just inform me

In a few days starting new EXIT music festival in my town Novi Sad (8 - 11 July). Its biggest musical even in Serbia and one of biggest music festivals in Europe.

This year we expect more then 10.000 guests only from Britain and more then 50.000 all kind of strangers in town.

i have some interests in shops near the location of EXIT camp and so i wanted to know about cigarettes. Thank you once more

see you on EXIT. Let us `exit` for the moment!

Lucky Strike are also popular (usually get them in vending machines in nice bars in the UK) - but to be honest, if someone is a smoker and their usual brand isnt on offer they'll smoke the local fags, so my advice would put a markup price on your locals brands rather than selling more expensive ones like Malboro - it will be a lot more profitable...

People living on council estates are consumers too. I would assume the best survey would be to ask the leading manufacturers, which brands they produce the most due to demand in the UK?

Just shows who the majority of consumers are...

Crow,

Amathyst gives good advice.

British smokers in Poland seem content with L&M Lights and Viceroy (blue)

so if you have them...
