My Views Of Poles Working in the UK

well if you have never worked in Poland then i can assume you've been here for a long time, so therefore can be considered a british citizen. So your welcome to those benefits and you hae a right to claim them :)

i`m not sure if i can be a british citizen after 4 years but i am sure working on it :)

U have UK deep in ur a**, who is he?

i don`t know but he sure must have a big ol` a$$ :P

Polish people or any migrants should not be allowed ANY benefits. If you cannot find work you should go home. This is common sense. It goes to show this nonsense that Poles are here doing jobs we don't want to do if there are some not working and on benefits. You can look for work in Poland at the expense of the Polish government. This is why we have nationalities/countries and passports. Poles are not subjects of Britain.
THIS NONSENSE HAS TO STOP!

it`s not so easy to go back if you have a british partner (almost a husband) and a british child, innit chap?

yes i understand its not just polish i think i said that in my post that i wasn't picking on the polish only. I also take your point that some of the british populaion don't seem to want to intergrate with the immigrants. There needs to be effort from both sides.

i think as long as intergrating is concerned, people like myself who speak english and will probably live here for a looooooong time find it easier to intergrate. but it has to go both ways cuz i know some british people are not so keen themselves with intergrating.

I don't like the Polish? I love the Polish. I have a Polish girlfriend and I LOVE her. Also, my grandfather...Rodzina mojej mamy była z Polski,z Płocka.Mój dziadek był pilotem w RAF (I hope my Polish is OK). You got that wrong (not liking Poles) Incubus. Never mind...next time.

ok now i`m just waaay confused commonsense. are you a scorpio by any chance? all mysterious and stuff.

so i don`t really know what point are you trying to make here? telling me i shouldn`t be allowed to any benefits if i`m not british? i`ve never claimed any benefits before i got pregnant. i have to do it now cuz i want my (british) baby to have a decent babyhood and toddlerhood and i am really hoping to get a job soon cuz i`ve been looking for a month and a half now and i`m getting stressed out how we`re gonna manage cuz my partner can`t afford to pay for all of us. i wouldn`t get any benefits from poland cuz my baby is not polish. lol

Kilkline, I raise my views as I am a subject of the British Crown. I am a British citizen and unlike Poles, I can vote to change Her Majesty's governments. My opinion is the most important to the government, not a Polish or any other migrant.

You said that the immigrants in your home town 'have no right to be there'. Its just interesting that you believe you have the right to be in Canada though.

Also when you go to Canada are you to be withheld the basic rights and liberties that you think should be denied immigrants to the UK?

I think that in your situation you should be allowed benefits but this isn't the case for everyone. I don't British people should be given hand-outs either. I am not mysterious - just an honest guy.

I never said I have the right to be in Canada. I'm not even in Canada. I will not live back in the UK because I feel, like many others, that my home has been taken from me by immigrants who I don't think 'have a right' to be there. I left after watching this 6 years ago - now the problem is even worse!

In your eyes what would give a person the right to live in a foreign country?

I never said I have the right to be in Canada

Toronto has more than 50% of people whose first language is not English, so do a good research before moving here. We already have people who complain about immigration here. Just a fact.

Mal, a practical thinking Taurus :)

so true.

check this site out. French are Canadian born and they are not included in this data.

I think this is another misconception about Canada and Toronto in particular. It is a very mixed city and we get along quite well.

Downtown Toronto is like a mini trip around the world. From Little Italy (now mostly Portuguese people) to Greek town to China town etc...
If you do not like immigrants, do NOT come to Toronto! lol!

so true.

So, what`s your sign? *I`m not hitting on you...or am I?*

don't a lot of people there speak french??

Not in the Tdot. Ottawa, Québec and New Brunswick have tons of French speakers. Getting students to even learn French in Toronto is like pulling teeth.

Regarding those people who I think have a 'right' to live in another country is zero.

I haven't read all of this thread, but "commonsense" did seem to live up to his name for the bits that I read.

However, it will take rioting on the streets and civil unrest before anything changes though. Even then, the chances of REAL change are slim.

We need a Government with a radical agenda, however, we need some radical politicians first.

yeah its true it probably will take civil unrest for something to be done, it should not come down to that.

As for teh radical politicians, they won't get through the screening :)

I hope it doesn't come down to riots either, however, it wouldn't surprise me if it did.

People will only take so much.

You are totally right.. and I agree with your points..

The only reason they are coming to the UK is to send money out of it. This is absolutely wrong and does not help the Bristish Economy at all.

Their presence has created a massive unhapiness to the native british population and politicians should be worried that they do not get their vote.. LABOUR.. you must worry now!.. As the 99% of the British citizens had enough!! of your stupid policy of bringing all these foreigners to invade our land!.

This is not the United Kingdom anymore.. is the DUMP! and trash! of people who did not make it in their own land!!!.. Open your eyes!!

Nowdays walking in any city in what lets say (was Britain).. you just find people speaking POLISH or Rumanian!!

What a laugh.. Churchill is having now... to see how idiots are running our Country.

the problem is mate, nothing will ever be done because of statements and views like this issued by people like yourselves. For those of us who are concerned over the immigration policy this sort of thing does not help. It just gives fuel to those voices taht say 'your just being racist'. If you want to help your country then fight the immigration policy not the immigrants.

I have a lot of feelings the same as you about the UK etc, however there are ways and means and this is not the way or the means.

People may want to note the difference here between Scotland and England. In general the negative views expressed here are regarding England only and not Scotland. Scotland welcomes immigrants.

So 99% of English citizens may indeed feel like this, they are not indicitive of the feeling in Scotland, far from it. So I would appreciate it if people did understand that commonsense, Mister H and some others are indeed talking about England and not Scotland (other parts of UK I cannot comment on).

Scotland has a long and celebrated history with Poland and Polish people and it will continue to do so.

The only reason they are coming to the UK is to send money out of it

Or to stay here and spend their money on food, beer, phones and computers. Or to fall in love and get married and stay here for ever. Or to Pay their FAIR SHARE OF TAX before going back home and claiming nothing back in benefits...

99% of the British citizens had enough!!

Count me as one of that massive 1% that you conveniently take NO FLIPPING NOTICE OF.

Where are you? What makes you think you can accuse England of being so bad whilst saintly Scotland isn't the hjome of people like noimmigration?
PinkJewel

Oh noimmigration, one person.

I am pointing out that those who are claiming Britain thinks this and Britain thinks that are actually talking about England.

BTW - I know you aren't included in the anti-Polish brigade.
